因為聽道而不行道的，就像人對着鏡子看自己本來的面目，看見，走後，隨即忘了他的相貌如何。

那撒在路旁的，就是人聽了道，撒但立刻來，把撒在他心裏的道奪了去。

有鷙鳥下來，落在那死畜的肉上，亞伯蘭就把牠嚇飛了。

又說：「神的國如同人把種撒在地上。黑夜睡覺，白日起來，這種就發芽漸長，那人卻不曉得如何這樣。地生五穀是出於自然的：先發苗，後長穗，再後穗上結成飽滿的子粒；穀既熟了，就用鐮刀去割，因為收成的時候到了。」

「你們是世上的鹽。鹽若失了味，怎能叫它再鹹呢？以後無用，不過丟在外面，被人踐踏了。

耶穌又設個比喻對他們說：「天國好像人撒好種在田裏，及至人睡覺的時候，有仇敵來，將稗子撒在麥子裏就走了。到長苗吐穗的時候，稗子也顯出來。

耶穌就用比喻教訓他們許多道理。在教訓之間，對他們說：「你們聽啊！有一個撒種的出去撒種。撒的時候，有落在路旁的，飛鳥來吃盡了；

他用比喻對他們講許多道理，說：「有一個撒種的出去撒種；撒的時候，有落在路旁的，飛鳥來吃盡了；

「這比喻乃是這樣：種子就是神的道。那些在路旁的，就是人聽了道，隨後魔鬼來，從他們心裏把道奪去，恐怕他們信了得救。

凡偏離你律例的人，你都輕棄他們，因為他們的詭詐必歸虛空。

「所以，你們當聽這撒種的比喻。凡聽見天國道理不明白的，那惡者就來，把所撒在他心裏的奪了去；這就是撒在路旁的了。

他回答說：「那撒好種的就是人子；
