那撒在路旁的，就是人聽了道，撒但立刻來，把撒在他心裡的道奪去。

有鷙鳥下來，落在這些屍骸上，亞伯蘭就把牠們嚇走了。

耶穌說：“神的國好像人在地裡撒種，他夜裡睡覺，白天起來，種子發芽生長，自己也不知道怎麼會這樣的。地生五穀是自然的，先長苗，後吐穗，最後穗上結滿了子粒。莊稼熟了，就派人用鐮刀割下，因為收成的時候到了。”

“你們是地上的鹽；如果鹽失了味，怎能使它再鹹呢？結果毫無用處，唯有丟在外面任人踐踏。

耶穌對他們另外講了一個比喻，說：“天國好像人把好的種子撒在田裡。人們睡了的時候，他的仇敵來把稗子撒在麥子中間，就走了。到了發苗吐穗的時候，稗子也顯出來。

他用比喻教訓他們許多事，在教訓中他說：“你們聽著！有一個撒種的出去撒種，撒的時候，有的落在路旁，小鳥飛來就吃掉了。

他用比喻對眾人講了許多事，說：“有一個撒種的出去撒種。撒的時候，有的落在路旁，小鳥飛來就吃掉了。

“這比喻是說，種子是神的道，那落在路旁的，就是人聽了，魔鬼隨即來到，從他們心裡把道奪去，恐怕他們相信就得救了。

偏離你的律例的，你都把他們棄絕；他們的詭詐是徒然的。

“所以你們要聽這撒種人的比喻。凡是聽了天國的道卻不明白的，那惡者就來把撒在他心中的奪去。這就是撒在路旁的。

他回答：“那撒好種子的是人子，
