於是來請求他們，領他們出監之後，就請他們離開那城。

西門．彼得看見這種情景，就俯伏在耶穌膝前，說：“主啊，離開我，因為我是個罪人。”

然後他們就往別的村莊去了。

於是婦人對以利亞說：“神人哪，我跟你有甚麼關係呢？你竟到我這裡來，使耶和華想起我的罪孽，殺死我的兒子。”

伯．示麥人說：“在耶和華這位聖潔的神面前，誰能站立得住呢？他可以從我們這裡上到哪裡去呢？”

全城的居民都出來要見耶穌，看見了他，就求他離開他們的地區。

凡不接待你們的，你們離開那城的時候，當把腳上的灰塵跺下去，作為反對他們的表示。”

無論進哪一城，人若不接待你們，你們就出來到街上，說：‘連你們城裡那黏在我們腳上的塵土，我們也要當著你們擦去。雖然這樣，你們應該知道：神的國臨近了！’

他一見耶穌，就俯伏喊叫，大聲說：“至高神的兒子耶穌，我跟你有甚麼關係呢？求你不要使我受苦。”

然而他們對神說：‘離開我們吧，我們不願意曉得你的道路。全能者是誰，竟要我們服事他呢？我們若向他懇求，有甚麼益處呢？’

現在這大火快要吞滅我們了，我們為甚麼要冒死呢？如果我們再聽見耶和華我們神的聲音，我們就必死亡。

聽從你們的，就是聽從我；棄絕你們的，就是棄絕我；棄絕我的，就是棄絕那差我來的。”

他們就要求耶穌離開他們的地區。

大衛因為耶和華擊殺了烏撒，就很生氣，因此稱那地方為毗列斯‧烏撒，直到今日。那一天，大衛懼怕耶和華，說：“耶和華的約櫃怎可以到我這裡來呢？”
