连忙到狱中向他们道歉，领他们出监，又央求他们离开腓立比。

伯·示麦人说：“谁能站立在耶和华——这位圣洁的上帝面前呢？该把约柜送到谁那里呢？”

于是，全城的人都出来见耶稣，见到后，便请求祂离开那地方。

如果有人不欢迎你们，你们在离开那城的时候，就把脚上的尘土跺掉，作为对他们的警告。”

但如果哪一个城镇的人不欢迎你们，你们就到街上宣告，‘就连你们城里的尘土粘在我们脚上，我们都要跺掉，但是要知道，上帝的国临近了。’

他一见到耶稣，就扑倒在祂面前，高声喊叫：“至高上帝的儿子耶稣，我和你有什么关系？求求你，不要折磨我！”

他们对上帝说，‘离开我们，我们不想学习你的道。全能者是谁，竟要我们事奉祂？向祂祷告有何益处？’

但我们何必冒死，被这烈火吞噬呢？我们若再次听到我们的上帝耶和华的声音，必然丧命。

耶稣继续对门徒说：“谁听从你们，就是听从我；谁拒绝你们，就是拒绝我；拒绝我的，就是拒绝差我来的那位。”

他们请耶稣离开他们的地方。

大卫因耶和华击杀乌撒而烦恼，就称那地方为毗列斯·乌撒，沿用至今。那天，大卫惧怕耶和华，他说：“耶和华的约柜怎能运到我这里？”
