For Jesus had commanded the impure spirit to come out of the man. Many times it had seized him, and though he was chained hand and foot and kept under guard, he had broken his chains and had been driven by the demon into solitary places.

and a spirit seizes him and he suddenly screams, and it throws him into a convulsion with foaming at the mouth; and only with difficulty does it leave him, mauling him as it leaves.

And they brought the boy to Him. When he saw Him, the spirit immediately threw him into convulsions, and falling to the ground, he began rolling around and foaming at the mouth.And He asked his father,“ How long has this been happening to him?” And he said,“ From childhood.It has often thrown him both into the fire and into the water to kill him. But if You can do anything, take pity on us and help us!”But Jesus said to him,“ ‘ If You can?’ All things are possible for the one who believes.”Immediately the boy’s father cried out and said,“ I do believe; help my unbelief!”When Jesus saw that a crowd was rapidly gathering, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it,“ You mute and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him and do not enter him again!”And after crying out and throwing him into terrible convulsions, it came out; and the boy became so much like a corpse that most of them said,“ He is dead!”

Now while he was still approaching, the demon slammed him to the ground and threw him into a convulsion. But Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, and healed the boy and gave him back to his father.

For He had already been saying to him,“ Come out of the man, you unclean spirit!”

with gentleness correcting those who are in opposition, if perhaps God may grant them repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth,and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, having been held captive by him to do his will.

He lived among the tombs; and no one was able to bind him anymore, not even with a chain,because he had often been bound with shackles and chains, and the chains had been torn apart by him and the shackles broken in pieces; and no one was strong enough to subdue him.Constantly, night and day, he was screaming among the tombs and in the mountains, and cutting himself with stones.
