Then he said to them,“ Where is your faith?” But they were afraid and amazed, saying to one another,“ Who then is this? He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey him!”

耶穌乃謂其徒曰：『爾信德安在？』眾皆愕然而相語曰：『斯果何人？並風與水、亦惟命是從矣。』

“ Where is your faith?” he asked his disciples. In fear and amazement they asked one another,“ Who is this? He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey him.”

Then he asked them,“ Where is your faith?” The disciples were terrified and amazed.“ Who is this man?” they asked each other.“ When he gives a command, even the wind and waves obey him!”

And He said to them,“ Where is your faith?” But they were fearful and amazed, saying to one another,“ Who then is this, that He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey Him?”

But He said to them,“ Where is your faith?” And they were afraid, and marveled, saying to one another,“ Who can this be? For He commands even the winds and water, and they obey Him!”

And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And being afraid they marvelled, saying one to another, Who then is this, that he commandeth even the winds and the water, and they obey him?

He said to them,“ Where is your faith?” They were fearful and amazed, asking one another,“ Who can this be? He commands even the winds and the waves, and they obey Him!”

And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him.

He said to them,“ Where is your faith?” Being afraid they marveled, saying to one another,“ Who is this then, that he commands even the winds and the water, and they obey him?”

And he said to them,“ Why are you cowardly? Do you still not have faith?”They were overwhelmed by fear and said to one another,“ Who then is this? Even the wind and sea obey him!”

But he said to them,“ Why are you cowardly, you people of little faith?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it was dead calm.

Who has ascended into heaven, and then descended? Who has gathered up the winds in his fists? Who has bound up the waters in his cloak? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and what is his son’s name?– if you know!

And if this is how God clothes the wild grass, which is here today and tomorrow is tossed into the fire to heat the oven, how much more will he clothe you, you people of little faith!

Jesus responded,“ Didn’t I tell you that if you believe, you would see the glory of God?”

Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him, saying to him,“ You of little faith, why did you doubt?”

And if this is how God clothes the wild grass, which is here today and tomorrow is tossed into the fire to heat the oven, won’t he clothe you even more, you people of little faith?

The day the LORD delivered the Amorites over to the Israelites, Joshua prayed to the LORD before Israel:“ O sun, stand still over Gibeon! O moon, over the Valley of Aijalon!”The sun stood still and the moon stood motionless while the nation took vengeance on its enemies. The event is recorded in the Scroll of the Upright One. The sun stood motionless in the middle of the sky and did not set for about a full day.There has not been a day like it before or since. The LORD obeyed a man, for the LORD fought for Israel!

“ Who shut up the sea with doors when it burst forth, coming out of the womb,when I made the storm clouds its garment, and thick darkness its swaddling band,when I prescribed its limits, and set in place its bolts and doors,

God said,“ Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place and let dry ground appear.” It was so.God called the dry ground“ land” and the gathered waters he called“ seas.” God saw that it was good.

when he gave the sea his decree that the waters should not pass over his command, when he marked out the foundations of the earth,

He told them,“ It was because of your little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain,‘ Move from here to there,’ and it will move; nothing will be impossible for you.”
