Now on one of those days Jesus and His disciples got into a boat, and He said to them,“ Let’s cross over to the other side of the lake.” So they launched out.

One day Jesus said to his disciples,“ Let us go over to the other side of the lake.” So they got into a boat and set out.

When He got into the boat, His disciples followed Him.And behold, a violent storm developed on the sea, so that the boat was being covered by the waves; but Jesus Himself was asleep.And they came to Him and woke Him, saying,“ Save us, Lord; we are perishing!”He* said to them,“ Why are you afraid, you men of little faith?” Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it became perfectly calm.The men were amazed, and said,“ What kind of a man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?”

On that day, when evening came, He* said to them,“ Let’s go over to the other side.”After dismissing the crowd, they* took Him along with them in the boat, just as He was; and other boats were with Him.And a fierce gale of wind* developed, and the waves were breaking over the boat so much that the boat was already filling with water.And yet Jesus Himself was in the stern, asleep on the cushion; and they* woke Him and* said to Him,“ Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?”And He got up and rebuked the wind and said to the sea,“ Hush, be still.” And the wind died down and it became perfectly calm.And He said to them,“ Why are you afraid? Do you still have no faith?”They became very much afraid and said to one another,“ Who, then, is this, that even the wind and the sea obey Him?”

After these things Jesus went away to the other side of the Sea of Galilee( or Tiberias).

And leaving them, He again embarked and went away to the other side.

Now it happened that while the crowd was pressing around Him and listening to the word of God, He was standing by the lake of Gennesaret;

And immediately Jesus had His disciples get into the boat and go ahead of Him to the other side, to Bethsaida, while He Himself* dismissed the crowd.

Immediately afterward He compelled the disciples to get into the boat and to go ahead of Him to the other side, while He sent the crowds away.

When Jesus had crossed over again in the boat to the other side, a large crowd gathered around Him; and He stayed by the seashore.

But as they were sailing along He fell asleep; and a fierce gale of wind descended on the lake, and they began to be swamped and to be in danger.

Now when Jesus saw a crowd around Him, He gave orders to depart to the other side of the sea.
