有人告訴他說：「你母親和你兄弟站在外邊，要見你。」

有人轉告耶穌：“你母親和弟弟站在外面要見你。”

有人告訴他說：『你母親和你弟兄站在外邊，想要見你呢。』

有人告訴他：「你母親和弟弟們站在外面，想要見你。」

或告之曰、爾母及兄弟立於外、欲見爾、

或告曰、爾母及兄弟立於外、欲見爾、

或告之曰、爾母及兄弟立於外欲見爾、

或告耶穌曰：『爾母及兄弟延竚於外、欲求一見。』

Someone told him,“ Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to see you.”

Someone told him,“ Your mother and brothers are standing outside. They want to see you.”

And he was told,“ Your mother and your brothers are standing outside, desiring to see you.”

Someone told Jesus,“ Your mother and your brothers are standing outside, and they want to see you.”

He was told,“ Your mother and your brothers are standing outside, wanting to see you.”

And it was reported to Him,“ Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside, wishing to see You.”

And it was told Him by some, who said,“ Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside, desiring to see You.”

And it was told him, Thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to see thee.

He was told,“ Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside, wanting to see You.”

這些人和幾個婦人，包括耶穌的母親馬利亞，和耶穌的兄弟，都同心合意地恆切禱告。

這不是那木匠嗎？不是馬利亞的兒子雅各、約西、猶大、西門的長兄嗎？他姊妹們不也是在我們這裏嗎？」他們就厭棄他。

這不是那木匠的兒子嗎？他母親不是叫馬利亞嗎？他兄弟們不是叫雅各、約瑟、西門、猶大嗎？他姊妹們不是都在我們這裏嗎？他這一切是從哪裏來的呢？」

難道我們沒有權利帶着信主的妻子一起出入，如同其餘的使徒，和主的兄弟們，和磯法一樣嗎？

至於別的使徒，除了主的兄弟雅各，我都沒有見過。

耶穌的兄弟們對他說：「你離開這裏上猶太去吧，好讓你的門徒也看見你所做的事。因為人要揚名，沒有在隱祕的地方行事的，如果你要做這些事，該把自己顯明給世人看。」原來連他的兄弟們也不信他。於是耶穌對他們說：「我的時機還沒有到，你們的時機卻隨時都有。
