曰上帝國之奧、賜爾知之、惟於他人則設喻、俾其視而不明、聽而不悟、

答曰、天主國之奧、乃賜爾知之、惟於他人則設喻、使其視亦不見、聽亦不悟、

耶穌曰：『天主國之奧義、賜爾知之；為他人惟設譬而已。彼乃所謂視而不見、聞而不悟者也。

He said,“ The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to others I speak in parables, so that,“‘ though seeing, they may not see; though hearing, they may not understand.’

He said,“ You have been given the chance to understand the secrets of God’s kingdom. But to outsiders I speak by using stories. In that way,“‘ They see, but they will not know what they are seeing. They hear, but they will not understand what they are hearing.’( Isaiah 6:9)

he said,“ To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of God, but for others they are in parables, so that‘ seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.’

He replied,“ You are permitted to understand the secrets of the Kingdom of God. But I use parables to teach the others so that the Scriptures might be fulfilled:‘ When they look, they won’t really see. When they hear, they won’t understand.’

So he said,“ The secrets of the kingdom of God have been given for you to know, but to the rest it is in parables, so that Looking they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.

And He said,“ To you it has been granted to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God, but to the rest they are told in parables, so that while seeing they may not see, and while hearing they may not understand.

And He said,“ To you it has been given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God, but to the rest it is given in parables, that‘ Seeing they may not see, And hearing they may not understand.’

And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to the rest in parables; that seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.

So He said,“ The secrets of the kingdom of God have been given for you to know, but to the rest it is in parables, so that Looking they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.

And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.

He said,“ You have been given the opportunity to know the secrets of the kingdom of God, but for others they are in parables, so that although they see they may not see, and although they hear they may not understand.

He said,“ To you it is given to know the mysteries of God’s Kingdom, but to the rest in parables; that‘ seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.’

他说：“你去告诉这百姓说：‘你们听了又听，却不明白；看了又看，却不晓得。’

耶稣对他们说：“上帝国的奥秘只让你们知道，若是对外人讲，凡事就用比喻，

那时，耶稣说：“父啊，天地的主，我感谢你！因为你把这些事向聪明智慧的人隐藏起来，而向婴孩启示出来。

他们既无知，又不思想；因为耶和华蒙蔽他们的眼，使他们看不见，塞住他们的心，使他们不明白。

耶稣回答他们说：“因为天国的奥秘只让你们知道，不让他们知道。凡有的，还要给他，让他有余；凡没有的，连他所有的也要夺去。我之所以用比喻对他们讲，是因为他们看却看不清，听却听不见，也不明白。在他们身上，正应验了以赛亚的预言：‘你们听了又听，却不明白，看了又看，却看不清。因为这百姓的心麻木，耳朵发沉，眼睛闭着，免得眼睛看见，耳朵听见，心里明白，回转过来，我会医治他们。’但你们的眼睛是有福的，因为看得见；你们的耳朵也是有福的，因为听得见。我实在告诉你们，从前有许多先知和义人要看你们所看的，却没有看见；要听你们所听的，却没有听见。”

“愚昧无知的百姓啊，你们有眼不看，有耳不听，现在当听这话。

为要使他们的心得安慰，因爱心互相联络，以致有从确实了解所产生的丰盛，好深知上帝的奥秘，就是基督；

惟有上帝能照我所传的福音和所讲的耶稣基督，并照历代以来隐藏的奥秘的启示，坚固你们。

这道就是历世历代所隐藏的奥秘，但如今向他的圣徒显明了。上帝要让他们知道，这奥秘在外邦人中有何等丰盛的荣耀；就是基督在你们心里成了得荣耀的盼望。我们传扬他，是用诸般的智慧，劝戒各人，教导各人，要把各人在基督里完完全全地献上。

他说：‘你去对这百姓说：你们听了又听，却不明白；看了又看，却看不清。因为这百姓的心麻木，耳朵塞着，眼睛闭着，免得眼睛看见，耳朵听见，心里明白，回转过来，我会医治他们。’

那又怎么说呢？以色列人所寻求的，他们没有得着。但是蒙拣选的人得着了，其余的人却成了顽梗不化的。如经上所记：“上帝给他们昏沉的灵，眼睛看不见，耳朵听不到，直到今日。”大卫也说：“愿他们的宴席变为罗网，变为陷阱，变为绊脚石，作他们的报应。愿他们的眼睛昏花，看不见；愿你时常弯下他们的腰。”

耶稣回答他说：“约拿的儿子西门，你是有福的！因为这不是属血肉的启示你的，而是我在天上的父启示的。

耶和华与敬畏他的人亲密，他要将自己的约指示他们。

但耶和华到今日还没有使你们心能明白，眼能看见，耳能听见。

这一切都是由惟一的、同一位圣灵所运行，随着自己的旨意分给各人的。

所以，看哪，我要在这百姓中行奇妙的事，就是奇妙又奇妙的事。他们智慧人的智慧必然消灭，聪明人的聪明必然消失。”

论到这救恩，那预先说你们要得恩典的众先知已经详细地搜索查考过，查考在他们心里的基督的灵预先证明基督受苦难，后来得荣耀，是指什么时候，什么样的情况。他们得了启示，知道他们所服事的不是自己，而是你们。那藉着从天上差来的圣灵传福音给你们的人，现在将这些事传给你们；这些事连天使也都切望察看呢！

我们讲的是从前隐藏的、上帝奥秘的智慧，就是上帝在万世以前预定使我们得荣耀的智慧；这智慧，今世有权有位的人没有一个知道，若知道，他们就不会把荣耀的主钉在十字架上了。如经上所记：“上帝为爱他的人所预备的是眼睛未曾看见，耳朵未曾听见，人心也未曾想到的。”只有上帝藉着圣灵把这事向我们显明了；因为圣灵参透万事，就是上帝深奥的事也参透了。除了在人里头的灵，谁知道人的事？照样，除了上帝的灵，也没有人知道上帝的事。

“主使他们瞎了眼，使他们硬了心，免得他们眼睛看见，他们心里明白，回转过来，我会医治他们。”

敬虔的奥秘是公认为伟大的：上帝在肉身显现，被圣灵称义，被天使看见，被传于外邦，被世人信服，被接在荣耀里。

正当那时，耶稣被圣灵感动而欢喜快乐，说：“父啊，天地的主，我感谢你！因为你把这些事向聪明智慧的人隐藏起来，而向婴孩启示出来。父啊，是的，因为你的美意本是如此。一切都是我父交给我的。除了父，没有人知道子是谁；除了子和子所愿意启示的人，没有人知道父是谁。”耶稣转身私下对门徒说：“看见你们所看见的，那眼睛有福了。我告诉你们，从前有许多先知和君王要看你们所看的，却没有看见，要听你们所听的，却没有听见。”

用启示让我知道福音的奥秘，正如我以前略略写过的。你们读了，就会知道我深深了解基督的奥秘；这奥秘在以前的世代没有让人知道，像如今藉着圣灵向他的圣使徒和先知启示一样，就是外邦人在基督耶稣里，藉着福音，得以同为后嗣，同为一体，同为蒙应许的人。我作了这福音的仆役，是照着上帝的恩赐，是照他运行的大能赐给我的。虽然我比众圣徒中最小的还小，他还赐我这恩典，让我把基督那测不透的丰富传给外邦人，又使众人都明白什么是历代以来隐藏在创造万物之上帝里的奥秘，
