耶穌便說：「上帝國的奧祕只讓你們知道，對其他人，我就用比喻，使他們看卻看不見，聽卻聽不明白。

曰上帝國之奧、賜爾知之、惟於他人則設喻、俾其視而不明、聽而不悟、

曰、上帝國之奧、與爾知之、惟於他人、則設譬、故彼視而不明、聽而不悟、

答曰、天主國之奧、乃賜爾知之、惟於他人則設喻、使其視亦不見、聽亦不悟、

耶穌曰：『天主國之奧義、賜爾知之；為他人惟設譬而已。彼乃所謂視而不見、聞而不悟者也。

He said,“ The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to others I speak in parables, so that,“‘ though seeing, they may not see; though hearing, they may not understand.’

He said,“ You have been given the chance to understand the secrets of God’s kingdom. But to outsiders I speak by using stories. In that way,“‘ They see, but they will not know what they are seeing. They hear, but they will not understand what they are hearing.’( Isaiah 6:9)

he said,“ To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of God, but for others they are in parables, so that‘ seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.’

He replied,“ You are permitted to understand the secrets of the Kingdom of God. But I use parables to teach the others so that the Scriptures might be fulfilled:‘ When they look, they won’t really see. When they hear, they won’t understand.’

So he said,“ The secrets of the kingdom of God have been given for you to know, but to the rest it is in parables, so that Looking they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.

And He said,“ To you it has been granted to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God, but to the rest they are told in parables, so that while seeing they may not see, and while hearing they may not understand.

And He said,“ To you it has been given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God, but to the rest it is given in parables, that‘ Seeing they may not see, And hearing they may not understand.’

And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to the rest in parables; that seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.

So He said,“ The secrets of the kingdom of God have been given for you to know, but to the rest it is in parables, so that Looking they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.

And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.

He said,“ You have been given the opportunity to know the secrets of the kingdom of God, but for others they are in parables, so that although they see they may not see, and although they hear they may not understand.

He said,“ To you it is given to know the mysteries of God’s Kingdom, but to the rest in parables; that‘ seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.’

祂說：「你去告訴以色列人，『你們聽了又聽，卻不明白；看了又看，卻不領悟。』

耶穌說：「上帝國的奧祕只讓你們知道，對於外人，我只用比喻，

那時，耶穌說：「父啊，天地的主，我頌讚你，因為你把這些事向聰明、有學問的人隱藏起來，卻啟示給像孩童一般的人。

他們愚昧無知，因為眼睛被封住以致看不見，心竅被塞住以致不明白。

耶穌回答說：「天國的奧祕只讓你們知道，不讓他們知道。因為凡有的，還要給他更多，他就豐富有餘；凡沒有的，連他僅有的也要奪去。我用比喻教導他們是因為他們視而不見，聽而不聞，聞而不悟。以賽亞的預言正應驗在他們身上，『你們聽了又聽，卻不明白；看了又看，卻不領悟。因為這些人心靈麻木，耳朵發背，眼睛昏花，以致眼睛看不見，耳朵聽不見，心裡不明白，無法回心轉意，得不到我的醫治。』「但你們的眼睛是有福的，因為看得見；你們的耳朵也是有福的，因為聽得見。我實在告訴你們，以前有許多先知和義人曾渴望看見你們所看見的，聽見你們所聽見的，卻未能如願。

『聽著，你們這群愚昧無知的人啊，你們視而不見，聽而不聞。

為要使你們眾人心受鼓勵，聯結在愛裡，有豐富篤定的真知灼見，可以認識上帝的奧祕。這奧祕就是基督，

感謝上帝！祂能使你們剛強，正如我所傳講的福音和耶穌基督的教導。這福音是自古隱藏、從未顯明的奧祕，

這道是歷世歷代一直隱藏的奧祕，現在已經向祂的眾聖徒顯明了。上帝要他們知道這奧祕在外族人中有何等豐富的榮耀，這奧祕就是基督在你們裡面，使你們有榮耀的盼望。我們傳揚基督，用各樣的智慧勸誡、教導眾人，使他們在基督裡長大成熟，好把他們帶到上帝面前。

祂說，『你去告訴百姓，你們聽了又聽，卻不明白；看了又看，卻不領悟。因為這百姓心靈麻木，耳朵發背，眼睛昏花，以致眼睛看不見，耳朵聽不見，心裡不明白，無法回心轉意，得不到我的醫治。』

這該怎麼說呢？以色列人努力追求，卻一無所得，只有蒙揀選的人得到了，其他的人都變得頑固不化。正如聖經上說：「上帝使他們至今心智昏迷，眼睛看不見，耳朵聽不到。」大衛也說：「願他們的宴席成為網羅、陷阱、絆腳石，給他們帶來報應；願他們眼目昏暗，無法看見，永遠彎腰駝背。」

耶穌對他說：「約拿的兒子西門啊，你是有福的！因為這件事不是屬血肉的人告訴你的，而是我天上的父啟示你的。

耶和華與敬畏祂的人為友，使他們認識祂的約。

但耶和華至今還沒有賜給你們能明白的心、能看見的眼、能聽清的耳。

這一切都是同一位聖靈所賜的，是祂按自己的旨意分別賜給各人的。

所以，我要再次行奇妙無比的事，使他們震驚。他們智者的智慧必泯滅，明哲的聰明必消失。」

有關這救恩，那些預言恩典要臨到你們的眾先知早已詳細尋求查考了。基督的靈曾在他們心中指示他們，預言基督要受苦，然後得榮耀。他們便詳細查考這些事會在什麼時候、什麼情況下發生。他們得到啟示，知道他們傳講這些事不是為了自己，而是為了你們。現在，那些靠著從天上差來的聖靈向你們傳福音的人，已經將這些事傳給你們了。連天使也想把這些事看個明白。

我們所講的是上帝隱藏在奧祕中的智慧，是祂為了使我們得榮耀而在萬世以前定好的智慧。只可惜世上當權的人沒有一個明白這智慧。他們要是明白，就不會把榮耀的主釘在十字架上了。正如聖經上說：「上帝為愛祂的人所預備的，是眼睛未曾見過，耳朵未曾聽聞，人心也未曾想到的。」然而，上帝藉著聖靈將這一切啟示給我們，因為聖靈洞悉萬事，連上帝深奧的事都瞭若指掌。除了人裡面的靈，誰能瞭解人的事呢？照樣，除了上帝的聖靈，誰也不能瞭解上帝的事。

「主使他們眼瞎、心硬，免得他們眼睛看見，心裡明白，回心轉意，就得到我的醫治。」

毫無疑問，我們偉大的信仰奧妙無比：祂以肉身顯現，被聖靈證明為義，被天使看見，被傳揚到列邦，被世人信奉，被接到天上的榮耀中。

就在這時候，耶穌受聖靈感動，充滿喜樂地說：「父啊，天地的主，我頌讚你！因為你把這些事向聰明、有學問的人隱藏起來，卻啟示給像孩童一般的人。父啊！是的，這正是你的美意。我父將一切交給了我。除了父，沒有人認識子；除了子和受子啟示的人，沒有人認識父。」隨後，耶穌轉身悄悄地對門徒說：「誰看到你們今日所看到的，誰就有福了。我告訴你們，以前有許多先知和君王渴望看見你們所看見的，聽見你們所聽見的，卻未能如願。」

祂藉著啟示讓我明白福音的奧祕，正如我前面簡要提過的。你們讀過之後，就能明白我對基督的奧祕有深刻的認識。自古以來，上帝沒有讓人知道這奧祕，如今祂藉著聖靈將這奧祕啟示給祂的聖使徒和先知。這奧祕就是外族人能夠在基督耶穌裡藉著福音與以色列人同作後嗣，同為一體，同享應許。上帝運用大能賜給我恩典，叫我成為這福音的使者。我本來比最卑微的聖徒還卑微，卻蒙上帝賜我這恩典，讓我把基督那測不透的豐富傳給外族人，讓全人類都明白世代隱藏在創造萬物的上帝裡面的奧祕，
