耶穌走遍加利利，在各會堂裡教導人，宣揚天國的福音，醫治民間各種疾病、各種病症。

如果沒有蒙差遣，怎能傳揚呢？如經上所記：“那些傳美事報喜訊的人，他們的腳蹤多麼美！”

凡是聽了天國的道卻不明白的，那惡者就來把撒在他心中的奪去。這就是撒在路旁的。

他卻說：“我也必須到別的城去傳神國的福音，因為我是為了這緣故奉差遣的。”於是他往猶太的各會堂去傳道。

他選立的十二個人是：西門（耶穌給他起名叫彼得），西庇太的兒子雅各，和雅各的弟弟約翰（耶穌給他們二人起名叫半尼其，就是“雷子”的意思），安得烈、腓力、巴多羅邁、馬太、多馬、亞勒腓的兒子雅各、達太、激進派的西門，以及加略人猶大，就是出賣耶穌的那個人。

就是西門（又給他起名叫彼得），和他弟弟安得烈，以及雅各、約翰、腓力、巴多羅邁、馬太、多馬、亞勒腓的兒子雅各、稱為激進派的西門、雅各的兒子猶大，和出賣主的加略人猶大。

並且知道神怎樣用聖靈和能力膏立拿撒勒人耶穌。他到各處行善事，醫好所有被魔鬼壓制的人，因為神與他同在。

十二使徒的名字如下：為首的是西門（又名彼得），西門的弟弟安得烈，西庇太的兒子雅各，雅各的弟弟約翰，腓力，巴多羅邁，多馬，稅吏馬太，亞勒腓的兒子雅各，達太，激進派的西門，和出賣耶穌的加略人猶大。

主耶和華的靈在我身上，因為耶和華膏了我，叫我傳福音給困苦的人；差遣我去醫治傷心的人，向被擄的宣告自由，向被囚的宣告釋放；宣告耶和華悅納人的禧年，和我們的神報仇的日子；安慰悲哀的人，為錫安悲哀的人穿上裝飾，賜給他們華冠代替灰塵，喜樂油代替悲哀，讚美衣代替沮喪的靈，他們必稱為公義的橡樹，是耶和華栽種的，好使他自己得著榮耀。

我們報好信息給你們：神給列祖的應許，

“主的靈在我身上，因為他膏我去傳福音給貧窮的人，差遣我去宣告被擄的得釋放，瞎眼的得看見，受壓制的得自由，

耶穌吩咐完了十二門徒，就離開那裡，在各城裡教導傳道。

耶穌走遍各城各鄉，在各會堂裡教導人，宣揚天國的福音，醫治各種疾病、各種病症。

於是他走遍加利利全地，在他們的會堂裡傳道，並且趕鬼。

天使說：“不要怕！看哪！我報給你們大喜的信息，是關於萬民的：今天在大衛的城裡，為你們生了救主，就是主基督。
