并且知道神怎样用圣灵和能力膏立拿撒勒人耶稣。他到各处行善事，医好所有被魔鬼压制的人，因为神与他同在。

西门．彼得看见这种情景，就俯伏在耶稣膝前，说：“主啊，离开我，因为我是个罪人。”

我实在告诉你，除非你还清最后一分钱，否则决不能从那里出来。“你们听过有这样的吩咐：‘不可奸淫。’

我用水给你们施洗，表示你们悔改；但在我以后要来的那一位，能力比我更大，我就是替他提鞋也没有资格。他要用圣灵与火给你们施洗。

正如人子来，不是要受人的服事，而是要服事人，并且要舍命，作许多人的赎价。”

但神所赐的恩更大；所以圣经上说：“神对抗骄傲的人，赐恩给谦卑的人。”

长老们就来见耶稣，恳切地求他说：“你给他行这事，是他配得的，

你向你仆人所施的一切慈爱和信实，我实在不配得。从前我只拿着我的手杖过这约旦河；现在我却拥有这两队人马了。
