Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins;and by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.

For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written,“ Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them.”

But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness,just as David also describes the blessedness of the man to whom God imputes righteousness apart from works:“ Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, And whose sins are covered;Blessed is the man to whom the Lord shall not impute sin.”

Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, Whose sin is covered.Blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not impute iniquity, And in whose spirit there is no deceit.When I kept silent, my bones grew old Through my groaning all the day long.For day and night Your hand was heavy upon me; My vitality was turned into the drought of summer. SelahI acknowledged my sin to You, And my iniquity I have not hidden. I said,“ I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” And You forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah

O my God, incline Your ear and hear; open Your eyes and see our desolations, and the city which is called by Your name; for we do not present our supplications before You because of our righteous deeds, but because of Your great mercies.O Lord, hear! O Lord, forgive! O Lord, listen and act! Do not delay for Your own sake, my God, for Your city and Your people are called by Your name.”

And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.

Who is a God like You, Pardoning iniquity And passing over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He does not retain His anger forever, Because He delights in mercy.He will again have compassion on us, And will subdue our iniquities. You will cast all our sins Into the depths of the sea.You will give truth to Jacob And mercy to Abraham, Which You have sworn to our fathers From days of old.

None of them can by any means redeem his brother, Nor give to God a ransom for him—For the redemption of their souls is costly, And it shall cease forever—

bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace

And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors.
