村里有人为耶稣预备了晚饭，拉撒路也与耶稣同席，玛大在旁边伺候。

有个安息日，耶稣到一位法利赛人的首领家里作客，人们密切地监视祂。

有一个法利赛人请耶稣到他家里吃饭，耶稣应邀赴宴。

百姓见状，都埋怨说：“祂怎么到一个罪人家里作客？”

法利赛人看见了，就质问耶稣的门徒：“你们的老师为何跟税吏和罪人一起吃饭？”

耶稣说完这番话后，有一个法利赛人来请祂吃饭，祂便应邀入席。

耶稣和门徒也被邀请去赴宴。
