I tell you, among those born of women there is no one greater than John; yet the one who is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.”

我已立為教會之役、依上帝為爾所授之職、徧宣其道、即歷世歷代所隱之奧秘、而今顯於聖徒者、上帝樂以此奧秘之榮之富、示之異邦、即基督在爾衷、為有榮之望焉、

我在聖徒中、乃微之又微者、尚蒙此恩、俾以基督莫測之富有宣諸異邦、令眾知此頒布之奧秘、即歷世隱於創造萬有之上帝者、

約翰謂眾曰、我洗爾以水、有勝於我者來、即解其履帶、我亦弗堪、彼將洗爾以聖神及火、

斯救也、諸先知預言將臨於爾之恩者、且探索而研究之、乃考基督之神在其衷者、預證基督受苦、而後得榮、所指何時、何如時、彼得啟示、非為己、乃為爾曹而役斯事、即今宣福音者、賴自天所遣之聖神、告爾此事也、天使亦欲詳察之、○

語門徒曰、凡以我名接斯孩提者、即接我也、接我者、即接遣我者也、夫爾中最微者、乃為大也、○

爾必歡樂、眾悅其生、蓋彼將於主前為大、清酒醇醪皆不飲、自母胎而聖神充之、

是皆以信得美證、而未獲所許、蓋上帝為我儕所備尤善、使彼外乎我儕者、不得完全也、
