你們不要以外面的辮頭髮，戴金飾，穿美衣為妝飾，只要以裏面存着長久溫柔、安靜的心為妝飾；這在神面前是極寶貴的。

他以公義為鎧甲，以拯救為頭盔，以報仇為衣服，以熱心為外袍。

第三日，以斯帖穿上朝服，進王宮的內院，對殿站立。王在殿裏坐在寶座上，對着殿門。

席上的珍饈美味，羣臣分列而坐，僕人兩旁侍立，以及他們的衣服裝飾和酒政的衣服裝飾，又見他上耶和華殿的臺階，就詫異得神不守舍；

回答說：「他身穿毛衣，腰束皮帶。」王說：「這必是提斯比人以利亞。」

末底改穿着藍色白色的朝服，頭戴大金冠冕，又穿紫色細麻布的外袍，從王面前出來；書珊城的人民都歡呼快樂。

僕人現在八十歲了，還能嘗出飲食的滋味、辨別美惡嗎？還能聽男女歌唱的聲音嗎？僕人何必累贅我主我王呢？

這約翰身穿駱駝毛的衣服，腰束皮帶，吃的是蝗蟲、野蜜。

在位第三年，為他一切首領臣僕設擺筵席，有波斯和米底亞的權貴，就是各省的貴冑與首領，在他面前。

請王后瓦實提頭戴王后的冠冕到王面前，使各等臣民看她的美貌，因為她容貌甚美。
