凡不予疑怪者、福哉斯人！』

Blessed is anyone who does not stumble on account of me.”

Blessed is anyone who does not give up their faith because of me.”

And he added,“ God blesses those who do not fall away because of me.”

and blessed is the one who isn’t offended by me.”

And blessed is anyone who does not take offense at Me.”

And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me.”

And blessed is he, whosoever shall find no occasion of stumbling in me.

And anyone who is not offended because of Me is blessed.”

And blessed is[ he], whosoever shall not be offended in me.

Blessed is anyone who takes no offense at me.”

Blessed is he who finds no occasion for stumbling in me.”

And he will become a sanctuary and a stone of offense and a rock of stumbling to both houses of Israel, a trap and a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.And many shall stumble on it. They shall fall and be broken; they shall be snared and taken.”

For since, in the wisdom of God, the world did not know God through wisdom, it pleased God through the folly of what we preach to save those who believe.For Jews demand signs and Greeks seek wisdom,but we preach Christ crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and folly to Gentiles,but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.For the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.For consider your calling, brothers: not many of you were wise according to worldly standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth.But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong;God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are,

Why? Because they did not pursue it by faith, but as if it were based on works. They have stumbled over the stumbling stone,as it is written,“ Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense; and whoever believes in him will not be put to shame.”

And Simeon blessed them and said to Mary his mother,“ Behold, this child is appointed for the fall and rising of many in Israel, and for a sign that is opposed

The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned.

So the honor is for you who believe, but for those who do not believe,“ The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone,”and“ A stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense.” They stumble because they disobey the word, as they were destined to do.

When many of his disciples heard it, they said,“ This is a hard saying; who can listen to it?”But Jesus, knowing in himself that his disciples were grumbling about this, said to them,“ Do you take offense at this?Then what if you were to see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before?It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is no help at all. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life.But there are some of you who do not believe.”( For Jesus knew from the beginning who those were who did not believe, and who it was who would betray him.)And he said,“ This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless it is granted him by the Father.”After this many of his disciples turned back and no longer walked with him.

And they took offense at him. But Jesus said to them,“ A prophet is not without honor except in his hometown and in his own household.”And he did not do many mighty works there, because of their unbelief.
