John, calling to himself two of his disciples, sent them to Jesus, saying,“ Are you the one who is coming, or should we look for another?”

如望乃召二弟子、使往詢耶穌曰：『汝其為將臨者乎？抑吾人別有所待耶？』

he sent them to the Lord to ask,“ Are you the one who is to come, or should we expect someone else?”

He sent them to the Lord. John told them to ask him,“ Are you the one who is supposed to come? Or should we look for someone else?”

calling two of his disciples to him, sent them to the Lord, saying,“ Are you the one who is to come, or shall we look for another?”

and he sent them to the Lord to ask him,“ Are you the Messiah we’ve been expecting, or should we keep looking for someone else?”

and sent them to the Lord, asking,“ Are you the one who is to come, or should we expect someone else?”

And after summoning two of his disciples, John sent them to the Lord, saying,“ Are You the Coming One, or are we to look for another?”

And John, calling two of his disciples to him, sent them to Jesus, saying,“ Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?”

And John calling unto him two of his disciples sent them to the Lord, saying, Art thou he that cometh, or look we for another?

and sent them to the Lord, asking,“ Are You the One who is to come, or should we look for someone else?”

For a child is born to us. A son is given to us; and the government will be on his shoulders. His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.Of the increase of his government and of peace there shall be no end, on David’s throne, and on his kingdom, to establish it, and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from that time on, even forever. The zeal of Yahweh of Armies will perform this.

But to you who fear my name shall the sun of righteousness arise with healing in its wings. You will go out, and leap like calves of the stall.

Yahweh your God will raise up to you a prophet from among you, of your brothers, like me. You shall listen to him.This is according to all that you desired of Yahweh your God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying,“ Let me not hear again Yahweh my God’s voice, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I not die.”Yahweh said to me,“ They have well said that which they have spoken.I will raise them up a prophet from among their brothers, like you. I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I shall command him.

Rejoice greatly, daughter of Zion! Shout, daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King comes to you! He is righteous, and having salvation; lowly, and riding on a donkey, even on a colt, the foal of a donkey.

Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin will conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

“ A Redeemer will come to Zion, and to those who turn from disobedience in Jacob,” says Yahweh.“ As for me, this is my covenant with them,” says Yahweh.“ My Spirit who is on you, and my words which I have put in your mouth shall not depart out of your mouth, nor out of the mouth of your offspring, nor out of the mouth of your offspring’s offspring,” says Yahweh,“ from now on and forever.”

When the angel who spoke to him had departed, Cornelius called two of his household servants and a devout soldier of those who waited on him continually.Having explained everything to them, he sent them to Joppa.

But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, being small among the clans of Judah, out of you one will come out to me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings out are from of old, from ancient times.

For he is like a refiner’s fire, and like launderers’ soap;and he will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver, and he will purify the sons of Levi, and refine them as gold and silver; and they shall offer to Yahweh offerings in righteousness.

“ Seventy weeks are decreed on your people and on your holy city, to finish disobedience, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most holy.“ Know therefore and discern that from the going out of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem to the Anointed One, the prince, will be seven weeks and sixty- two weeks. It will be built again, with street and moat, even in troubled times.After the sixty- two weeks the Anointed One will be cut off, and will have nothing. The people of the prince who come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. Its end will be with a flood, and war will be even to the end. Desolations are determined.

I will put hostility between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring. He will bruise your head, and you will bruise his heel.”

A shoot will come out of the stock of Jesse, and a branch out of his roots will bear fruit.

“ Behold, the days come,” says Yahweh,“ that I will raise to David a righteous Branch, and he will reign as king and deal wisely, and will execute justice and righteousness in the land.In his days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell safely. This is his name by which he will be called: Yahweh our righteousness.

Now after these things, the Lord also appointed seventy others, and sent them two by two ahead of him into every city and place where he was about to come.

Yahweh says to my Lord,“ Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool for your feet.”Yahweh will send out the rod of your strength out of Zion. Rule among your enemies.Your people offer themselves willingly in the day of your power, in holy array. Out of the womb of the morning, you have the dew of your youth.Yahweh has sworn, and will not change his mind:“ You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.”

All the nations of the earth will be blessed by your offspring, because you have obeyed my voice.’”

The woman said to him,“ I know that Messiah comes, he who is called Christ. When he has come, he will declare to us all things.”

The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, until he comes to whom it belongs. To him will the obedience of the peoples be.

Joshua the son of Nun secretly sent two men out of Shittim as spies, saying,“ Go, view the land, including Jericho.” They went and came into the house of a prostitute whose name was Rahab, and slept there.

Behold, the Lord Yahweh will come as a mighty one, and his arm will rule for him. Behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him.He will feed his flock like a shepherd. He will gather the lambs in his arm, and carry them in his bosom. He will gently lead those who have their young.

I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.”

He called to himself the twelve, and began to send them out two by two; and he gave them authority over the unclean spirits.
