And after summoning two of his disciples, John sent them to the Lord, saying,“ Are You the Coming One, or are we to look for another?”

he sent them to the Lord to ask,“ Are you the one who is to come, or should we expect someone else?”

He sent them to the Lord. John told them to ask him,“ Are you the one who is supposed to come? Or should we look for someone else?”

calling two of his disciples to him, sent them to the Lord, saying,“ Are you the one who is to come, or shall we look for another?”

and he sent them to the Lord to ask him,“ Are you the Messiah we’ve been expecting, or should we keep looking for someone else?”

and sent them to the Lord, asking,“ Are you the one who is to come, or should we expect someone else?”

And John, calling two of his disciples to him, sent them to Jesus, saying,“ Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?”

And John calling unto him two of his disciples sent them to the Lord, saying, Art thou he that cometh, or look we for another?

and sent them to the Lord, asking,“ Are You the One who is to come, or should we look for someone else?”

And John calling[ unto him] two of his disciples sent[ them] to Jesus, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another?

John, calling to himself two of his disciples, sent them to Jesus, saying,“ Are you the one who is coming, or should we look for another?”

For a Child will be born to us, a Son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace On the throne of David and over his kingdom, To establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness From then on and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of armies will accomplish this.

But for you who fear My name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings; and you will go forth and frolic like calves from the stall.

“ The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your countrymen; to him you shall listen.This is in accordance with everything that you asked of the Lord your God at Horeb on the day of the assembly, saying,‘ Do not let me hear the voice of the Lord my God again, and do not let me see this great fire anymore, or I will die!’And the Lord said to me,‘ They have spoken well.I will raise up for them a prophet from among their countrymen like you, and I will put My words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them everything that I command him.

Rejoice greatly, daughter of Zion! Shout in triumph, daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your king is coming to you; He is righteous and endowed with salvation, Humble, and mounted on a donkey, Even on a colt, the foal of a donkey.

Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and she will name Him Immanuel.

“ A Redeemer will come to Zion, And to those in Jacob who turn from wrongdoing,” declares the Lord.“ As for Me, this is My covenant with them,” says the Lord:“ My Spirit who is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your offspring, nor from the mouth of your offspring’s offspring,” says the Lord,“ from now and forever.”

When the angel who* spoke to him left, he summoned two of his servants and a devout soldier from his personal attendants,and after he had explained everything to them, he sent them to Joppa.

But as for you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Too little to be among the clans of Judah, From you One will come forth for Me to be ruler in Israel. His times of coming forth are from long ago, From the days of eternity.”

I will shake all the nations; and they will come with the wealth of all nations, and I will fill this house with glory,’ says the Lord of armies.

“ Behold, I am sending My messenger, and he will clear a way before Me. And the Lord, whom you are seeking, will suddenly come to His temple; and the messenger of the covenant, in whom you delight, behold, He is coming,” says the Lord of armies.“ But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner’s fire, and like launderer’s soap.And He will sit as a smelter and purifier of silver, and He will purify the sons of Levi and refine them like gold and silver, so that they may present to the Lord offerings in righteousness.

“ Seventy weeks have been decreed for your people and your holy city, to finish the wrongdoing, to make an end of sin, to make atonement for guilt, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy Place.So you are to know and understand that from the issuing of a decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem, until Messiah the Prince, there will be seven weeks and sixty two weeks; it will be built again, with streets and moat, even in times of distress.Then after the sixty two weeks, the Messiah will be cut off and have nothing, and the people of the prince who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. And its end will come with a flood; even to the end there will be war; desolations are determined.

And I will make enemies Of you and the woman, And of your offspring and her Descendant; He shall bruise you on the head, And you shall bruise Him on the heel.”

Then a shoot will spring from the stem of Jesse, And a Branch from his roots will bear fruit.

“ Behold, the days are coming,” declares the Lord,“ When I will raise up for David a righteous Branch; And He will reign as king and act wisely And do justice and righteousness in the land.In His days Judah will be saved, And Israel will live securely; And this is His name by which He will be called,‘ The Lord Our Righteousness.’

Now after this the Lord appointed seventy two others, and sent them in pairs ahead of Him to every city and place where He Himself was going to come.

The Lord says to my Lord:“ Sit at My right hand Until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.”The Lord will stretch out Your strong scepter from Zion, saying,“ Rule in the midst of Your enemies.”Your people will volunteer freely on the day of Your power; In holy splendor, from the womb of the dawn, Your youth are to You as the dew.The Lord has sworn and will not change His mind,“ You are a priest forever According to the order of Melchizedek.”

And in your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.”

The woman* said to Him,“ I know that Messiah is coming( He who is called Christ); when that One comes, He will declare all things to us.”

The scepter will not depart from Judah, Nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, Until Shiloh comes, And to him shall be the obedience of the peoples.

Then Joshua the son of Nun sent two men as spies secretly from Shittim, saying,“ Go, view the land, especially Jericho.” So they went and entered the house of a prostitute whose name was Rahab, and rested there.

Behold, the Lord God will come with might, With His arm ruling for Him. Behold, His compensation is with Him, And His reward before Him.Like a shepherd He will tend His flock, In His arm He will gather the lambs And carry them in the fold of His robe; He will gently lead the nursing ewes.

And I will grant authority to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth.”

And He* summoned the twelve and began to send them out in pairs, and gave them authority over the unclean spirits;
