耶穌復入會堂、有一手癱痺者在焉。眾屏息視耶穌、欲覘其禮日亦治之否、意在假端以訟其罪。耶穌謂痺手者曰：『起立堂中。』復問眾曰：『禮日當行善乎？抑作惡乎？救生乎？抑戕生乎？』眾皆嘿然不答。耶穌怒視周眾、哀其心之麻木不仁。顧謂痺手者曰：『伸爾手。』伸之手立愈。於是法利塞人艴然而出、與希祿黨共謀所以除耶穌。

耶穌前行、入會堂、適有枯一手者在焉。或試耶穌曰：『禮日可治病乎？』將欲假端以攻之。耶穌曰：『爾曹孰有一羊禮日墮坑、而不即援之以出乎？人之貴於羊也、不亦多乎？是故禮日行善宜也。』乃謂其人曰：『伸爾手。』伸之立愈、無異他手。法利塞人出、共謀誅滅耶穌。

乃赴加利利之屬邑葛法農。禮日、復訓眾、

旋至納匝勒、其長育地也。禮日、循例入會堂、起誦、

中臥病者瞽者跛者痺者多人、靜俟池水之興波。

耶穌徧遊加利利、施訓會堂中、講天國福音、治民間諸疾；

禮日、耶穌施訓會堂中、

法利塞人中有曰：『此人不守安息日、決非自天主來者。』或曰：『罪人焉能行此靈蹟？』彼此頗持異同。

耶穌乃詰經生及法利塞人曰：『禮日治病宜乎？否乎？』眾皆嘿然。

遂撫以手；婦立即伸舒自如、而頌天主之德。顧會董以耶穌禮日治病、憾之、乃告眾曰：『六日之中、儘可工作、爾來就醫可也。毋在安息之日為之。』

安息日、耶穌行經麥田、門徒摘穅、搓而食之。
