惟聞而不行者、譬諸無基、而建屋土上、橫流衝之、遂以傾圮、而屋之頹壞者大也、

然而，那听见而不实行的人，就好比一个人把房子建在地面上，没有根基。急流一冲，立刻倒塌了，并且那房子毁坏得非常厉害。”

然而，那聽見而不實行的人，就好比一個人把房子建在地面上，沒有根基。急流一沖，立刻倒塌了，並且那房子毀壞得非常厲害。」

惟聞而不行者、似人建屋土上、而無基、河流衝之則傾、其屋之頹壞大矣、

惟聞而不行者、譬人未置基而建屋於土上、橫流衝之即傾頹、而屋之頹壞者大矣、

聞而不行、則猶建屋於沙礫之上、全無根基、一經橫流冲擊、即頹然傾圮、而不堪收拾矣。』

But the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed and its destruction was complete.”

But here is what happens when people listen to my words and do not obey them. They are like a man who builds a house on soft ground instead of solid rock. The moment the river rushes against that house, it falls down. It is completely destroyed.”

But the one who hears and does not do them is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. When the stream broke against it, immediately it fell, and the ruin of that house was great.”

But anyone who hears and doesn’t obey is like a person who builds a house right on the ground, without a foundation. When the floods sweep down against that house, it will collapse into a heap of ruins.”

But the one who hears and does not act is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The river crashed against it, and immediately it collapsed. And the destruction of that house was great.”

But the one who has heard and has not acted accordingly is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation; and the river burst against it and it immediately collapsed, and the ruin of that house was great.”

But he who heard and did nothing is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream beat vehemently; and immediately it fell. And the ruin of that house was great.”

But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that built a house upon the earth without a foundation; against which the stream brake, and straightway it fell in; and the ruin of that house was great.

But the one who hears and does not act is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The river crashed against it, and immediately it collapsed. And the destruction of that house was great!”

But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.

直躬而行者、可得拯救、所從邪曲者、猝然敗亡。

有播種者、出而播種、播時、有遺道傍者、為人所踐、飛鳥盡食之、有遺磽地者、生即槁、以無潤澤、有遺棘中者、棘同生而蔽之、

放我不能忍、遣人欲知爾之信主、恐試者惑爾、而我徒勞、

彼離我而出、非我友也、若我友必恆偕我、出則非我友也明矣、

惟內無根、則亦暫耳、及為道而遇難窘逐、遂厭而棄之、

故當黽勉、有信宜有德、有德宜有智、有智宜有節、有節宜有忍、有忍宜有虔、有虔宜有弟、有弟宜有仁、有此而擴充之、則知主耶穌基督道、而自不怠不荒、無此則盲於心、視不及遠、其受潔去舊罪、皆忘之矣、

邪神離人、遊行旱地、求安不得、曰、我將歸所出之室、至、則見其室闃寂、掃除修飾、遂往、又攜七神、惡於己者、入而居之、其人之後患、較先時尤劇、此惡世亦猶是也、○

對以不可、後悔而往、命其次子亦如之、對曰、主、諾、既而不果往、

其不欲我君之、而為我敵者、曳來誅於我前、○

倘吾儕識真理後、故背教、無復贖罪之祭、乃觳觫待刑、上帝震怒、使逆理者翦滅、昔有犯摩西律法者、若二三人為證、必殺之不恤、況蹂躪上帝子、以贖己之約之血為不潔、狎侮施恩之聖神、爾意其人受刑、當如何重哉、

其民憾之、遣使於後、訴曰、我儕不欲斯人君我也、

播於磽地者、猶人聽道、即喜受之、惟內無根、則亦暫耳、及為道而遇難窘逐、即厭而棄之、播於棘中者、猶人聽道、此世之憧擾、貨財之迷惑、蔽其道而不實、

邪神離人、遊行旱地、求安不得、曰、我將歸所出之室、至、則見掃除修飾矣、遂往、又攜七神惡於己者、入而居之、其人之後患、較先時尤劇、○

凡命爾守者、守之、但勿為其所為、以其言而不行也、

彼既至、坐於爾前、若我民然、聽爾言而不行、口所言則愛爾不置、其心貪婪、

第信不行、其信歸於無有、人言爾惟信主、善則行善、爾若無行、焉能以信示我、吾既有行、將以我信示爾、上帝惟一、爾信之誠善、群鬼亦信之而戰慄、虛誕之人乎、爾當知信而不行、其信歸於無有、昔吾祖亞伯拉罕獻子以撒於壇、非以所行明其義乎、厥行即信之功效、而信以之全備、應經所云、亞伯拉罕信上帝、遂得稱義、於是亞伯拉罕為上帝所愛、由是觀之、人不第以信、亦以行明義、妓喇合納使者、示以他途而歸、非以行明義乎、身無神則死、有信靡行亦猶是、

如有人知救主耶穌基督道、不為污世所囿、復因憧擾而受陷、則其人之後患、較先時尤劇、

吾語汝、當日所多馬之刑、較此邑尤易受也、哥拉汛其有禍乎、伯賽大其有禍乎、蓋在爾中所施異能、若施於推羅西頓、則早衣麻蒙灰、坐而悔改矣、然審判日、推羅西頓之刑、較爾尤易受也、迦百農乎、爾曾得升至天、又將推落暗府、又曰、聽爾者、即聽我、拒爾者、即拒我、拒我者、即拒遣我者也、○

僕知主意、而不設備、不順其意者、見扑必多、

不第聞道已也、實踐之、毋自欺、聞而不行者、譬人以鏡鑒面、過此以往、其形容若何、遂忘之矣、不強制人之良法、人詳察而常目在之、非猶夫聞而忘者、必若遵而行者、如是則得福、人自謂虔共、如不捫厥舌、乃迷厥心、則其虔共徒然、

屢刑諸會堂、強使毀耶穌、攻之益狂、窘逐至外邑、

蓋我知去後、必有殘狼入爾中、不惜其群、

爾藉耶和華名、傳諭於我、我不聽從、我所欲者我必為之、昔我列祖、王公、在猶大諸邑、耶路撒冷逵衢焚香灌奠、奉事天后、當時咸得果腹、所遇亨通、不遘患難、

凡我諸枝、不結實者去之、結實者治之、使結實尤繁、

爾何稱我、主也、主也、而不行我言乎、

多人將厭而棄我、彼此相陷相憾、

彼與淫婦、同獻祭祀、故其妻女、雖不節不貞、亦不降罰、無道之民、終必淪亡、
