The LORD is good to all, and has compassion on all he has made.

The one who is gracious to the poor lends to the LORD, and the LORD will repay him for his good deed.

A generous person will be blessed, for he gives some of his food to the poor.

“‘ If your brother becomes impoverished and is indebted to you, you must support him; he must live with you like a foreign resident.Do not take interest or profit from him, but you must fear your God and your brother must live with you.You must not lend him your money at interest and you must not sell him food for profit.

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that although he was rich, he became poor for your sakes, so that you by his poverty could become rich.

It goes well for the one who generously lends money, and conducts his business honestly.

My Father is honored by this, that you bear much fruit and show that you are my disciples.

All day long he shows compassion and lends to others, and his children are blessed.

yet he did not leave himself without a witness by doing good, by giving you rain from heaven and fruitful seasons, satisfying you with food and your hearts with joy.”

He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High, and the Lord God will give him the throne of his father David.

“ But I say to you who are listening: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.To the person who strikes you on the cheek, offer the other as well, and from the person who takes away your coat, do not withhold your tunic either.Give to everyone who asks you, and do not ask for your possessions back from the person who takes them away.Treat others in the same way that you would want them to treat you.
