But God proves his own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.How much more then, since we have now been justified by his blood, will we be saved through him from wrath.For if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, then how much more, having been reconciled, will we be saved by his life.

The LORD is good to everyone; his compassion rests on all he has made.

Kindness to the poor is a loan to the LORD, and he will give a reward to the lender.

A generous person will be blessed, for he shares his food with the poor.

“ If your brother becomes destitute and cannot sustain himself among you, you are to support him as an alien or temporary resident, so that he can continue to live among you.Do not profit or take interest from him, but fear your God and let your brother live among you.You are not to lend him your silver with interest or sell him your food for profit.

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ: Though he was rich, for your sake he became poor, so that by his poverty you might become rich.

Good will come to the one who lends generously and conducts his business fairly.

My Father is glorified by this: that you produce much fruit and prove to be my disciples.

He is always generous, always lending, and his children are a blessing.

although he did not leave himself without a witness, since he did what is good by giving you rain from heaven and fruitful seasons and filling you with food and your hearts with joy.”

He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High, and the Lord God will give him the throne of his father David.

And he cried out with a loud voice,“ What do you have to do with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg you before God, don’t torment me!”

“ But I say to you who listen: Love your enemies, do what is good to those who hate you,bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.If anyone hits you on the cheek, offer the other also. And if anyone takes away your coat, don’t hold back your shirt either.Give to everyone who asks you, and from someone who takes your things, don’t ask for them back.Just as you want others to do for you, do the same for them.
