唯有基督在我們還作罪人的時候為我們死，神對我們的愛就在此顯明了。所以，我們現在既然因他的血稱義，就更要藉著他免受神的忿怒。我們作仇敵的時候，尚且藉著神兒子的死與他復和，既然復和了，就更要因他的生得救了！

耶和華善待萬有，他的憐憫臨到他一切所造的。

恩待窮人的，等於借錢給耶和華；他所行的，耶和華必償還。

心存良善看人的，必蒙賜福；因為他把自己的食物分給窮人。

“如果你的兄弟貧窮，在你那裡手頭拮据，你要資助他，使他可以與你一同生活，像旅客寄居的一樣。你不可向他收取高利，卻要敬畏你的神，使你的兄弟可以與你一同生活。你借錢給他，不可向他取利息；借糧給他，也不可要他多還。

你們是知道我們的主耶穌基督的恩典的：他本來富足，卻為你們成了貧窮，要使你們因他的貧窮成為富足。

恩待人，借貸給別人，按公正處理自己事務的，這人必享福樂。

這樣，你們結出很多果子，我父就因此得榮耀，你們也就是我的門徒了。

他常常慷慨借給人；他的後裔必定蒙福。

然而卻未嘗不為自己留下明證，就如常常行善事，從天上降下雨來，常常賞賜豐年，使你們吃喝充足，滿心歡樂。”

他將要被尊為大，稱為至高者的兒子，主神要把他祖大衛的王位賜給他，

大聲呼叫，說：“至高神的兒子耶穌，我跟你有甚麼關係呢？我指著神懇求你，不要叫我受苦。”

“只是我告訴你們聽道的人：當愛你們的仇敵，善待恨你們的人。咒詛你們的，要為他們祝福，凌辱你們的，要為他們禱告。有人打你一邊的臉，把另一邊也轉給他打；有人拿你的外衣，連內衣也讓他拿去。向你求的，就給他；有人拿去你的東西，不用再要回來。你們願意人怎樣待你們，你們就應當怎樣待人。
