耶穌曰、爾未讀大衛及從者飢時所行乎、

耶穌答曰、經載大衛及從者饑時所行之事、爾未讀之乎、

耶穌應曰：『爾曹未讀大維及其從者飢時之所為乎？

Jesus answered them,“ Have you never read what David did when he and his companions were hungry?

Jesus answered them,“ Haven’t you ever read about what David did? He and his men were hungry.

And Jesus answered them,“ Have you not read what David did when he was hungry, he and those who were with him:

Jesus replied,“ Haven’t you read in the Scriptures what David did when he and his companions were hungry?

And Jesus, answering them, said,“ Have you not even read what David did when he was hungry, he and those who were with him,

But Jesus answering them said,“ Have you not even read this, what David did when he was hungry, he and those who were with him:

And Jesus answering them said, Have ye not read even this, what David did, when he was hungry, he, and they that were with him;

And Jesus answering them said, Have ye not read so much as this, what David did, when himself was an hungred, and they which were with him;

現在你這裡有什麼吃的嗎？請給我五個餅，或任何吃的東西。」祭司答道：「我們沒有普通的餅，只有聖餅，如果你的部下沒有親近過女色，就可以吃。」大衛答道：「當然沒有親近過女色。每逢我們出來辦事，即使是平常的任務，我的部下總是保持聖潔，何況這次是特別的任務。」於是，祭司把聖餅給他，因為那裡沒有別的餅，只有從耶和華的會幕裡更換下來的供餅。

耶穌回答說：「大衛和他的部下在饑餓、缺糧時所做的事，你們沒有讀過嗎？在亞比亞他做大祭司時，他進入上帝的殿吃了獻給上帝的供餅，還給他的部下吃。這餅只有祭司才可以吃。

耶穌回答說：「你們沒有讀過大衛的事蹟嗎？當時他和部下餓了，進入上帝的殿，吃了獻給上帝的供餅。這餅只有祭司才可以吃，大衛和部下是不准吃的。此外律法書又記載，安息日，祭司在聖殿裡觸犯了守安息日的規條也不算有罪。你們沒有讀過嗎？

他們責問耶穌說：「你聽見這些人說的了嗎？」耶穌說：「我聽見了。聖經上說，『你使孩童和嬰兒口中發出頌讚』，你們沒有讀過嗎？」

聖經上說，『工匠丟棄的石頭已成了房角石。

「關於死人復活的事，難道你們沒有讀過上帝對你們說過的話嗎？

關於死人復活的事，你們沒有讀過摩西書有關火中荊棘的記載嗎？上帝對摩西說，『我是亞伯拉罕的上帝，以撒的上帝，雅各的上帝。』

耶穌說：「『工匠丟棄的石頭已成了房角石。這是主的作為，在我們看來奇妙莫測。』你們難道沒有讀過這段經文嗎？

耶穌回答說：「你們沒有讀過嗎？太初，造物主造了男人和女人，並且說，
