But I say unto you that hear, Love your enemies, do good to them that hate you,

See that none render unto any one evil for evil; but always follow after that which is good, one toward another, and toward all.

Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, And let not thy heart be glad when he is overthrown;

If thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; And if he be thirsty, give him water to drink:For thou wilt heap coals of fire upon his head, And Jehovah will reward thee.

Ye have heard that it was said, Thou shalt love thy neighbor, and hate thine enemy:but I say unto you, Love your enemies, and pray for them that persecute you;that ye may be sons of your Father who is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sendeth rain on the just and the unjust.

So then, as we have opportunity, let us work that which is good toward all men, and especially toward them that are of the household of the faith.

If thou meet thine enemy’s ox or his ass going astray, thou shalt surely bring it back to him again.If thou see the ass of him that hateth thee lying under his burden, thou shalt forbear to leave him, thou shalt surely release it with him.

And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete it shall be measured unto you; and more shall be given unto you.

If I have rejoiced at the destruction of him that hated me, Or lifted up myself when evil found him( Yea, I have not suffered by mouth to sin By asking his life with a curse);If the men of my tent have not said, Who can find one that hath not been filled with his meat?

Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man’s sake.

And that in the good ground, these are such as in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, hold it fast, and bring forth fruit with patience.

even Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed him with the Holy Spirit and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

It is the glory of God to conceal a thing; But the glory of kings is to search out a matter.

Therefore consider carefully how you listen. Whoever has will be given more; whoever does not have, even what they think they have will be taken from them.” (niv)
