Blessed are you when men hate you, And when they exclude you, And revile you, and cast out your name as evil, For the Son of Man’s sake.

人为人子恨恶你们，拒绝你们，辱骂你们，弃掉你们的名，以为是恶，你们就有福了！

人为人子的缘故憎恨你们，拒绝你们，辱骂你们，把你们当恶人除掉你们的名，你们就有福了！

為人子而人惡爾、絕爾、詈爾、以爾名為惡而棄之、爾則福矣、

為人子、而人憎爾、絕爾、詬爾、惡爾名、如惡惡臭、即福矣、

人若為人子而憎爾、絕爾、詈爾、以爾名為惡而棄之、則爾福矣、

若為人子故、不容於世俗、既被人棄絕、更受人凌辱、乃至將爾名、視之如荼毒、爾乃真福人、即日當歡躍；

Blessed are you when people hate you, when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man.

Blessed are you when people hate you, when they have nothing to do with you and say bad things about you, and when they treat your name as something evil. They do all this because you are followers of the Son of Man.

“ Blessed are you when people hate you and when they exclude you and revile you and spurn your name as evil, on account of the Son of Man!

What blessings await you when people hate you and exclude you and mock you and curse you as evil because you follow the Son of Man.

Blessed are you when people hate you, when they exclude you, insult you, and slander your name as evil because of the Son of Man.

Blessed are you when the people hate you, and when they exclude you, and insult you, and scorn your name as evil, on account of the Son of Man.

Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man’s sake.

You are blessed when people hate you, when they exclude you, insult you, and slander your name as evil because of the Son of Man.

“ Blessed are you when people hate you, and when they exclude you and insult you and reject you as evil on account of the Son of Man!

Blessed are you when men hate you, and when they exclude and mock you, and throw out your name as evil, for the Son of Man’s sake.

Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved.

Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you;but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified.But let none of you suffer as a murderer, a thief, an evildoer, or as a busybody in other people’s matters.Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this matter.

persecutions, afflictions, which happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra— what persecutions I endured. And out of them all the Lord delivered me.Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.

They will put you out of the synagogues; yes, the time is coming that whoever kills you will think that he offers God service.

But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed.“ And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.”

For you, brethren, became imitators of the churches of God which are in Judea in Christ Jesus. For you also suffered the same things from your own countrymen, just as they did from the Judeans,who killed both the Lord Jesus and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they do not please God and are contrary to all men,

and not in any way terrified by your adversaries, which is to them a proof of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that from God.For to you it has been granted on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake,having the same conflict which you saw in me and now hear is in me.

The world cannot hate you, but it hates Me because I testify of it that its works are evil.

Nevertheless even among the rulers many believed in Him, but because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue;

For this is commendable, if because of conscience toward God one endures grief, suffering wrongfully.For what credit is it if, when you are beaten for your faults, you take it patiently? But when you do good and suffer, if you take it patiently, this is commendable before God.

And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake.

Who say,‘ Keep to yourself, Do not come near me, For I am holier than you!’ These are smoke in My nostrils, A fire that burns all the day.

We are fools for Christ’s sake, but you are wise in Christ! We are weak, but you are strong! You are distinguished, but we are dishonored!To the present hour we both hunger and thirst, and we are poorly clothed, and beaten, and homeless.

Hear the word of the Lord, You who tremble at His word:“ Your brethren who hated you, Who cast you out for My name’s sake, said,‘ Let the Lord be glorified, That we may see your joy.’ But they shall be ashamed.”

Are they ministers of Christ?— I speak as a fool— I am more: in labors more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequently, in deaths often.From the Jews five times I received forty stripes minus one.Three times I was beaten with rods; once I was stoned; three times I was shipwrecked; a night and a day I have been in the deep;in journeys often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils of my own countrymen, in perils of the Gentiles, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren;

I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.

And they listened to him until this word, and then they raised their voices and said,“ Away with such a fellow from the earth, for he is not fit to live!”

“ If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you.If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.Remember the word that I said to you,‘ A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also.But all these things they will do to you for My name’s sake, because they do not know Him who sent Me.

For I will show him how many things he must suffer for My name’s sake.”

So they cast him out of the vineyard and killed him. Therefore what will the owner of the vineyard do to them?

He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it.

His parents said these things because they feared the Jews, for the Jews had agreed already that if anyone confessed that He was Christ, he would be put out of the synagogue.Therefore his parents said,“ He is of age; ask him.”So they again called the man who was blind, and said to him,“ Give God the glory! We know that this Man is a sinner.”He answered and said,“ Whether He is a sinner or not I do not know. One thing I know: that though I was blind, now I see.”Then they said to him again,“ What did He do to you? How did He open your eyes?”He answered them,“ I told you already, and you did not listen. Why do you want to hear it again? Do you also want to become His disciples?”Then they reviled him and said,“ You are His disciple, but we are Moses’ disciples.

They answered and said to him,“ You were completely born in sins, and are you teaching us?” And they cast him out.

“ But watch out for yourselves, for they will deliver you up to councils, and you will be beaten in the synagogues. You will be brought before rulers and kings for My sake, for a testimony to them.And the gospel must first be preached to all the nations.But when they arrest you and deliver you up, do not worry beforehand, or premeditate what you will speak. But whatever is given you in that hour, speak that; for it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit.Now brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death.And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end shall be saved.

For we have found this man a plague, a creator of dissension among all the Jews throughout the world, and a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes.

You will be brought before governors and kings for My sake, as a testimony to them and to the Gentiles.
