And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.

西門回答說：『老師，我們整夜勞苦、沒有打着甚麼，如今靠着你的話、我要把網子縋下去。』

西門回答說：「老師，我們勞碌了一整夜，什麼也沒有捕到。不過按照你的話，我就下網吧。」

西門曰、夫子、我儕終夜勞苦、竟無所得、然以爾言、我則下網、

西門對曰、夫子、我儕終夜勞苦、竟無所得、今以爾言、我則下網、

西門對曰、師、我儕終夜勞苦、竟無所得、今遵爾言、我則下網、

西門曰：『吾儕通宵操勞、一鱗無獲、茲尊爾示、當復下網。』

Simon answered,“ Master, we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets.”

And Simon answered,“ Master, we toiled all night and took nothing! But at your word I will let down the nets.”

“ Master,” Simon replied,“ we worked hard all last night and didn’t catch a thing. But if you say so, I’ll let the nets down again.”

“ Master,” Simon replied,“ we’ve worked hard all night long and caught nothing. But if you say so, I’ll let down the nets.”

Simon responded and said,“ Master, we worked hard all night and caught nothing, but I will do as You say and let down the nets.”

But Simon answered and said to Him,“ Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net.”

And Simon answered and said, Master, we toiled all night, and took nothing: but at thy word I will let down the nets.

“ Master,” Simon replied,“ we’ve worked hard all night long and caught nothing! But at Your word, I’ll let down the nets.”

Simon answered,“ Master, we worked hard all night and caught nothing! But at your word I will lower the nets.”

Simon answered him,“ Master, we worked all night, and took nothing; but at your word I will let down the net.”

His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do[ it].

Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I[ am] the LORD.So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.

Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing.

And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.

Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh[ but] in vain.[ It is] vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows:[ for] so he giveth his beloved sleep.

Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.

And Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, Go and wash in Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean.But Naaman was wroth, and went away, and said, Behold, I thought, He will surely come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of the LORD his God, and strike his hand over the place, and recover the leper.[ Are] not Abana and Pharpar, rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? may I not wash in them, and be clean? So he turned and went away in a rage.And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father,[ if] the prophet had bid thee[ do some] great thing, wouldest thou not have done[ it]? how much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean?Then went he down, and dipped himself seven times in Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God: and his flesh came again like unto the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.

And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm.

And they lifted up[ their] voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.

And it came to pass, as they departed from him, Peter said unto Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias: not knowing what he said.

And John answered and said, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name; and we forbad him, because he followeth not with us.
