耶穌對他們說：「新郎和陪伴之人同在的時候，豈能叫陪伴之人禁食呢？

耶穌對他們說：「新郎和賓客在一起的時候，你們怎麼能叫賓客禁食呢？

耶穌對他們說：「新郎和賓客在一起的時候，你們怎麼能叫賓客禁食呢？

耶穌說：「新郎還跟賓客在一起的時候，豈能讓賓客禁食？

耶穌說：“新郎跟賓客在一起的時候，你們怎麼可以叫賓客禁食呢？

耶穌對他們說：『新郎跟賀喜的朋友在一起的時候，你們哪能叫他們禁食呢？

耶穌對他們說：「新郎與賓客在一起的時候，難道你們能叫賓客禁食嗎？

耶穌曰、新娶者在、安能使賀娶者禁食乎、

耶穌曰、新娶者在、安能使賀娶之人禁食乎、

耶穌曰、新娶者尚在、安能使賀娶之客禁食乎、

耶穌曰：『新壻尚在、安能令新壻之友守齋乎？

Jesus answered,“ Can you make the friends of the bridegroom fast while he is with them?

Jesus answered,“ Can you make the friends of the groom fast while he is with them?

And Jesus said to them,“ Can you make wedding guests fast while the bridegroom is with them?

Jesus responded,“ Do wedding guests fast while celebrating with the groom? Of course not.

Jesus said to them,“ You can’t make the wedding guests fast while the groom is with them, can you?

And He said to them,“ Can you make the friends of the bridegroom fast while the bridegroom is with them?

And Jesus said unto them, Can ye make the sons of the bride- chamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them?

Jesus said to them,“ You can’t make the wedding guests fast while the groom is with them, can you?

And he said unto them, Can ye make the children of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them?

So Jesus said to them,“ You cannot make the wedding guests fast while the bridegroom is with them, can you?

He said to them,“ Can you make the friends of the bridegroom fast while the bridegroom is with them?

He who has the bride is the groom; but the friend of the groom, who stands and listens to him, rejoices greatly because of the groom’s voice. So this joy of mine has been made full.

For your husband is your Maker, Whose name is the Lord of armies; And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel, Who is called the God of all the earth.

His left hand is under my head, And his right hand embraces me.”“ Swear to me, you daughters of Jerusalem, By the gazelles or by the does of the field, That you will not disturb or awaken my love Until she pleases.”

For as a young man marries a virgin, So your sons will marry you; And as the groom rejoices over the bride, So your God will rejoice over you.

The Lord your God is in your midst, A victorious warrior. He will rejoice over you with joy, He will be quiet in His love, He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy.

Listen, daughter, look and incline your ear: Forget your people and your father’s house;Then the King will crave your beauty. Because He is your Lord, bow down to Him.The daughter of Tyre will come with a gift; The wealthy among the people will seek your favor.The King’s daughter is all glorious within; Her clothing is interwoven with gold.She will be brought to the King in colorful garments; The virgins, her companions who follow her, Will be brought to You.They will be brought with joy and rejoicing; They will enter into the King’s palace.In place of your fathers will be your sons; You shall make them princes in all the earth.

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her,so that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word,that He might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy and blameless.

Let’s rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him, because the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His bride has prepared herself.”It was given to her to clothe herself in fine linen, bright and clean; for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.Then he* said to me,“ Write:‘ Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding feast of the Lamb.’ ” And he* said to me,“ These are the true words of God.”

He made its posts of silver, Its back of gold And its seat of purple fabric, With its interior lovingly inlaid By the daughters of Jerusalem.Go out, you daughters of Zion, And look at King Solomon with the crown With which his mother has crowned him On the day of his wedding, And on the day of the joy of his heart.”

“ Then the kingdom of heaven will be comparable to ten virgins, who took their lamps and went out to meet the groom.Five of them were foolish, and five were prudent.For when the foolish took their lamps, they did not take extra oil with them;but the prudent ones took oil in flasks with their lamps.Now while the groom was delaying, they all became drowsy and began to sleep.But at midnight there finally was a shout:‘ Behold, the groom! Come out to meet him.’Then all those virgins got up and trimmed their lamps.But the foolish virgins said to the prudent ones,‘ Give us some of your oil, because our lamps are going out.’However, the prudent ones answered,‘ No, there most certainly would not be enough for us and you too; go instead to the merchants and buy some for yourselves.’But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the groom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast; and the door was shut.

Then his father went down to the woman; and Samson held a feast there, for the young men customarily did this.When they saw him, they brought thirty companions to be with him.
