經生法利塞人腹誹曰：『狂言者誰乎！自天主而外、又孰能赦罪者？』

The Pharisees and the teachers of the law began thinking to themselves,“ Who is this fellow who speaks blasphemy? Who can forgive sins but God alone?”

But the Pharisees and teachers of religious law said to themselves,“ Who does he think he is? That’s blasphemy! Only God can forgive sins!”

Then the scribes and the Pharisees began to think to themselves,“ Who is this man who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins but God alone?”

The scribes and the Pharisees began thinking of the implications, saying,“ Who is this man who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, except God alone?”

「我，是我為自己的緣故，抹掉你的過犯，不會記念你的罪惡。

於是他們暗中唆使人說：「我們聽過這個人針對摩西和神說褻瀆的話語。」他們又煽動民眾、長老和經文士們就忽然來抓住司提反，把他帶到議會，並且推出假見證人說：「這個人不斷地說褻瀆神的話語，反對這聖所和律法。

那些與他一同坐席的人就心裡想：「這個人是誰，竟然赦免罪？」

他們回答：「我們不會為了什麼美好之事用石頭砸死你，而是為了你說褻瀆的話！因為你不過是人，竟然把自己當做神！」

大祭司就撕裂自己的衣服，說：「他說了褻瀆的話！難道我們還需要什麼見證人嗎？看，現在你們都聽見了這褻瀆的話。

我向你告白我的罪，沒有遮蓋我的罪孽；我說：「我要為我的過犯向耶和華認罪」，你就赦免了我的罪愆。細拉

可是，有一些經文士坐在那裡，心裡想：「這個人怎麼這樣說話呢？他說褻瀆的話！除了神一位之外，誰能赦免罪呢？」

我抹掉你的過犯，如同抹掉厚雲；我抹掉你的罪惡，如同抹掉薄霧；回轉歸向我吧，因為我救贖了你！

就在那些日子裡，有一天耶穌在教導人的時候，也有些法利賽人和律法教師坐在那裡，他們是從加利利和猶太地區的各村莊，以及耶路撒冷來的。主的大能與耶穌同在，使他能醫病。

但這時候，有些經文士心裡說：「這個人說褻瀆的話！」

耶和華說：「來吧，讓我們彼此理論；你們的罪雖像朱紅，必潔白如雪；雖赤如丹紅，必白如羊毛。

他赦免你一切的罪孽，治癒你一切的疾病；

然而赦免在於你，好使人敬畏你。

主啊，求你垂聽！主啊，求你赦免！主啊，求你留心聽並且行動！我的神哪，為你自己的緣故，求你不要遲延，因為你的城和你的子民都是被稱為你名下的。」

願他們如同風前的糠秕，有耶和華的使者驅趕他們。

到底誰能控告那些蒙神揀選的人呢？神是稱人為義的那一位！

憐憫和赦免在於主我們的神；我們卻背叛了他，
