維時民眾紛集、擁擠不堪、致相蹂踐、耶穌開言、先訓其徒曰：『毋染法利塞之酵、虛偽是也。

即之者甚眾、紛攜瘖盲跛廢等人、置耶穌足前、悉為治之。眾見瘖者言、殘者全、跛者行、瞽者明、乃翕然嘆服、而歸榮於義塞之天主。

於是聲名洋溢乎四境。

詎知其人出而宣揚其事、致耶穌不復得公然入城、惟逗留曠郊。而各方之人、趨之若鶩。閱數日、耶穌復入葛法農、眾聞其在寓、蜂擁而集、門無隙地。耶穌乃為講道。

耶穌徧遊加利利、施訓會堂中、講天國福音、治民間諸疾；聲名洋溢乎敘利亞。凡舁染恙、患病、負痛、中魔、顛癇、癱痿者至前、悉救治之。眾自加利利、代家玻羅、耶路撒冷、猶太、及約但河外、紛紛來從。

於是耶穌令名、遂洋溢乎加利利四境。

既渡、眾睹其醫病諸靈蹟、群趨若鶩。

時與耶穌偕行者極眾、耶穌顧謂之曰：

耶穌偕諸徒退處海濱、而加利利與猶太人紛紛踵至；

人之為善亦有顯隱之分；顯者固人皆見之、而隱者亦不能久藏也。
