这时，成千上万的人聚集在一起，甚至互相践踏。耶稣先对门徒说：“你们要提防法利赛人的酵，就是他们的伪善。

大群的人把瘸子、瞎子、残疾的、哑巴及许多别的病人带来，放在祂脚前，祂就治好了他们。大家看见哑巴说话，残疾的复原，瘸子走路，瞎子看见，都很惊奇，就赞美以色列的上帝。

这件事传遍了整个地区。

但那人离开之后，却到处传扬这件事，以致耶稣无法再公开进城。祂只能待在城外的旷野，可是人们仍从各处来找祂。几天后，耶稣回到迦百农。祂在家的消息一传开，立刻有许多人蜂拥而来，连门外也挤满了人。耶稣正给他们讲道的时候，

耶稣走遍加利利，在各个会堂里教导人，宣讲天国的福音，医治人们各样的疾病。祂的名声传遍了整个叙利亚。人们把一切患病的，就是患各种疾病的、疼痛的、癫痫的、瘫痪的，以及被鬼附身的都带到祂面前，祂都医治了他们。因此，有大群的人跟从了祂，他们来自加利利、低加坡里、耶路撒冷、犹太和约旦河东。

于是，耶稣的名声立刻传遍了整个加利利。

许多人因为见过耶稣治病的神迹，就跟随了祂。

有一大群人跟着耶稣，祂转身对他们说：

耶稣和门徒退到湖边，有一大群人从加利利来跟随祂。

敬畏耶和华使人得智慧，学会谦卑后才能得尊荣。

同样，有些善行很明显，不明显的也不会被长久埋没。
