While Jesus was in one of the towns, a man came along who was covered with leprosy. When he saw Jesus, he fell with his face to the ground and begged him,“ Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.”

And behold, a leper came to him and knelt before him, saying,“ Lord, if you will, you can make me clean.”And Jesus stretched out his hand and touched him, saying,“ I will; be clean.” And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.And Jesus said to him,“ See that you say nothing to anyone, but go, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a proof to them.”

and call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.”

And a leper came to him, imploring him, and kneeling said to him,“ If you will, you can make me clean.”Moved with pity, he stretched out his hand and touched him and said to him,“ I will; be clean.”And immediately the leprosy left him, and he was made clean.And Jesus sternly charged him and sent him away at once,and said to him,“ See that you say nothing to anyone, but go, show yourself to the priest and offer for your cleansing what Moses commanded, for a proof to them.”But he went out and began to talk freely about it, and to spread the news, so that Jesus could no longer openly enter a town, but was out in desolate places, and people were coming to him from every quarter.

And it has often cast him into fire and into water, to destroy him. But if you can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.”And Jesus said to him,“‘ If you can’! All things are possible for one who believes.”Immediately the father of the child cried out and said,“ I believe; help my unbelief!”

Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them.

When he entered the house, the blind men came to him, and Jesus said to them,“ Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to him,“ Yes, Lord.”

When he calls to me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him.

But the centurion replied,“ Lord, I am not worthy to have you come under my roof, but only say the word, and my servant will be healed.For I too am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. And I say to one,‘ Go,’ and he goes, and to another,‘ Come,’ and he comes, and to my servant,‘ Do this,’ and he does it.”

Now when Jesus was at Bethany in the house of Simon the leper,

Is anything too hard for the Lord? At the appointed time I will return to you, about this time next year, and Sarah shall have a son.”

“ Take care, in a case of leprous disease, to be very careful to do according to all that the Levitical priests shall direct you. As I commanded them, so you shall be careful to do.

And he said,“ No; but I am the commander of the army of the Lord. Now I have come.” And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and worshiped and said to him,“ What does my lord say to his servant?”

And fire came out from before the Lord and consumed the burnt offering and the pieces of fat on the altar, and when all the people saw it, they shouted and fell on their faces.

And David lifted his eyes and saw the angel of the Lord standing between earth and heaven, and in his hand a drawn sword stretched out over Jerusalem. Then David and the elders, clothed in sackcloth, fell upon their faces.

And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces and said,“ The Lord, he is God; the Lord, he is God.”

Naaman, commander of the army of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master and in high favor, because by him the Lord had given victory to Syria. He was a mighty man of valor, but he was a leper.

Again, the Lord said to him,“ Put your hand inside your cloak.” And he put his hand inside his cloak, and when he took it out, behold, his hand was leprous like snow.

When the cloud removed from over the tent, behold, Miriam was leprous, like snow. And Aaron turned toward Miriam, and behold, she was leprous.And Aaron said to Moses,“ Oh, my lord, do not punish us because we have done foolishly and have sinned.Let her not be as one dead, whose flesh is half eaten away when he comes out of his mother’s womb.”

The Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying,“ When a person has on the skin of his body a swelling or an eruption or a spot, and it turns into a case of leprous disease on the skin of his body, then he shall be brought to Aaron the priest or to one of his sons the priests,and the priest shall examine the diseased area on the skin of his body. And if the hair in the diseased area has turned white and the disease appears to be deeper than the skin of his body, it is a case of leprous disease. When the priest has examined him, he shall pronounce him unclean.But if the spot is white in the skin of his body and appears no deeper than the skin, and the hair in it has not turned white, the priest shall shut up the diseased person for seven days.And the priest shall examine him on the seventh day, and if in his eyes the disease is checked and the disease has not spread in the skin, then the priest shall shut him up for another seven days.And the priest shall examine him again on the seventh day, and if the diseased area has faded and the disease has not spread in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean; it is only an eruption. And he shall wash his clothes and be clean.But if the eruption spreads in the skin, after he has shown himself to the priest for his cleansing, he shall appear again before the priest.And the priest shall look, and if the eruption has spread in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean; it is a leprous disease.“ When a man is afflicted with a leprous disease, he shall be brought to the priest,and the priest shall look. And if there is a white swelling in the skin that has turned the hair white, and there is raw flesh in the swelling,it is a chronic leprous disease in the skin of his body, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean. He shall not shut him up, for he is unclean.And if the leprous disease breaks out in the skin, so that the leprous disease covers all the skin of the diseased person from head to foot, so far as the priest can see,then the priest shall look, and if the leprous disease has covered all his body, he shall pronounce him clean of the disease; it has all turned white, and he is clean.But when raw flesh appears on him, he shall be unclean.

Then Uzziah was angry. Now he had a censer in his hand to burn incense, and when he became angry with the priests, leprosy broke out on his forehead in the presence of the priests in the house of the Lord, by the altar of incense.And Azariah the chief priest and all the priests looked at him, and behold, he was leprous in his forehead! And they rushed him out quickly, and he himself hurried to go out, because the Lord had struck him.

and implored him earnestly, saying,“ My little daughter is at the point of death. Come and lay your hands on her, so that she may be made well and live.”

Now there were four men who were lepers at the entrance to the gate. And they said to one another,“ Why are we sitting here until we die?

Therefore the leprosy of Naaman shall cling to you and to your descendants forever.” So he went out from his presence a leper, like snow.
