Right away a man with leprosy came up and knelt before him, saying,“ Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.”Reaching out his hand, Jesus touched him, saying,“ I am willing; be made clean.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.Then Jesus told him,“ See that you don’t tell anyone; but go, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”

Call on me in a day of trouble; I will rescue you, and you will honor me.”

Then a man with leprosy came to him and, on his knees, begged him,“ If you are willing, you can make me clean.”Moved with compassion, Jesus reached out his hand and touched him.“ I am willing,” he told him.“ Be made clean.”Immediately the leprosy left him, and he was made clean.Then he sternly warned him and sent him away at once,telling him,“ See that you say nothing to anyone; but go and show yourself to the priest, and offer what Moses commanded for your cleansing, as a testimony to them.”Yet he went out and began to proclaim it widely and to spread the news, with the result that Jesus could no longer enter a town openly. But he was out in deserted places, and they came to him from everywhere.

“ And many times it has thrown him into fire or water to destroy him. But if you can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.”Jesus said to him,“‘ If you can’? Everything is possible for the one who believes.”Immediately the father of the boy cried out,“ I do believe; help my unbelief!”

Therefore, he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, since he always lives to intercede for them.

When he entered the house, the blind men approached him, and Jesus said to them,“ Do you believe that I can do this?” They said to him,“ Yes, Lord.”

When he calls out to me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble. I will rescue him and give him honor.

“ Lord,” the centurion replied,“ I am not worthy to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed.For I too am a man under authority, having soldiers under my command. I say to this one,‘ Go,’ and he goes; and to another,‘ Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant,‘ Do this!’ and he does it.”

Is anything impossible for the LORD? At the appointed time I will come back to you, and in about a year she will have a son.”

“ Be careful with a person who has a case of serious skin disease, following carefully everything the Levitical priests instruct you to do. Be careful to do as I have commanded them.

“ Neither,” he replied.“ I have now come as commander of the LORD’s army.” Then Joshua bowed with his face to the ground in homage and asked him,“ What does my lord want to say to his servant?”

Fire came from the LORD and consumed the burnt offering and the fat portions on the altar. And when all the people saw it, they shouted and fell facedown.

When Aaron turned toward her, he saw that she was diseasedand said to Moses,“ My lord, please don’t hold against us this sin we have so foolishly committed.Please don’t let her be like a dead baby whose flesh is half eaten away when he comes out of his mother’s womb.”

The LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron:“ When a person has a swelling, scab, or spot on the skin of his body, and it may be a serious disease on the skin of his body, he is to be brought to the priest Aaron or to one of his sons, the priests.The priest will examine the sore on the skin of his body. If the hair in the sore has turned white and the sore appears to be deeper than the skin of his body, it is in fact a serious skin disease. After the priest examines him, he must pronounce him unclean.But if the spot on the skin of his body is white and does not appear to be deeper than the skin, and the hair in it has not turned white, the priest will quarantine the stricken person for seven days.The priest will then reexamine him on the seventh day. If he sees that the sore remains unchanged and has not spread on the skin, the priest will quarantine him for another seven days.The priest will examine him again on the seventh day. If the sore has faded and has not spread on the skin, the priest is to pronounce him clean; it is a scab. The person is to wash his clothes and will become clean.But if the scab spreads further on his skin after he has presented himself to the priest for his cleansing, he is to present himself again to the priest.The priest will examine him, and if the scab has spread on the skin, then the priest must pronounce him unclean; he has a serious skin disease.“ When a case of serious skin disease may have developed on a person, he is to be brought to the priest.The priest will examine him. If there is a white swelling on the skin that has turned the hair white, and there is a patch of raw flesh in the swelling,it is a chronic serious disease on the skin of his body, and the priest must pronounce him unclean. He need not quarantine him, for he is unclean.But if the skin disease breaks out all over the skin so that it covers all the skin of the stricken person from his head to his feet so far as the priest can see,the priest will look, and if the skin disease has covered his entire body, he is to pronounce the stricken person clean. Since he has turned totally white, he is clean.But whenever raw flesh appears on him, he will be unclean.

Uzziah, with a firepan in his hand to offer incense, was enraged. But when he became enraged with the priests, in the presence of the priests in the LORD’s temple beside the altar of incense, a skin disease broke out on his forehead.Then Azariah the chief priest and all the priests turned to him and saw that he was diseased on his forehead. They rushed him out of there. He himself also hurried to get out because the LORD had afflicted him.

and begged him earnestly,“ My little daughter is dying. Come and lay your hands on her so that she can get well and live.”

Now four men with a skin disease were at the entrance to the city gate. They said to each other,“ Why just sit here until we die?

Therefore, Naaman’s skin disease will cling to you and your descendants forever.” So Gehazi went out from his presence diseased, resembling snow.
