祛魔亦復不少。魔皆呼曰：『汝乃天主之子。』耶穌斥之、不許發言、以群魔識其為基督故。

Also, demons came out of many people. The demons shouted,“ You are the Son of God!” But he commanded them to be quiet. He would not allow them to speak, because they knew he was the Messiah.

And demons also came out of many, crying,“ You are the Son of God!” But he rebuked them and would not allow them to speak, because they knew that he was the Christ.

Finally Paul became so annoyed that he turned around and said to the spirit,“ In the name of Jesus Christ I command you to come out of her!” At that moment the spirit left her.

You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that— and shudder.

“ Go away! What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are— the Holy One of God!”“ Be quiet!” Jesus said sternly.“ Come out of him!” Then the demon threw the man down before them all and came out without injuring him.

Whenever the impure spirits saw him, they fell down before him and cried out,“ You are the Son of God.”

The tempter came to him and said,“ If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.”

“ What do you want with us, Son of God?” they shouted.“ Have you come here to torture us before the appointed time?”

But Jesus remained silent. The high priest said to him,“ I charge you under oath by the living God: Tell us if you are the Messiah, the Son of God.”

But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.

“ Be quiet!” said Jesus sternly.“ Come out of him!”
