甚至連手巾或圍巾也從他肌膚上被帶走，去放在患病的人身上，疾病就消退，惡靈也出來。

耶穌聽見了，就從那裏暗暗坐船退到荒野地方去；羣眾聽見了，卻從各城步行跟着他。

就跑遍那全地區，將有病的人放在鋪蓋上隨帶着，聽見他在甚麼地方就到甚麼地方去。凡耶穌所進的村莊、或城市、或鄉下，他們都把患病的人放在市場上，求耶穌容他們摸他，雖即只摸得着他的衣裳繸子；凡摸着他的人、都得了救治。

他治好了許多人，故此儘所有患災病的都向他那裏擠去，要摸他。

耶穌不能在那裏施行甚麼異能，不過給幾個病人按手，治好他們罷了。

正當那時辰，耶穌剛治好了許多人的疾病、災病和邪靈，又恩賜許多瞎子得以看見。於是耶穌回答他們說：『你們去把所看見所聽見的報告約翰：就是瞎子能看見，瘸子能走路，患痲瘋屬之病的得潔淨，聾子能聽見，死人得甦活起來，窮人有好消息傳給他們。凡不因我而絆跌的有福了。』

甚至有人將病人也抬出來到大街上，放在小床上或鋪蓋上，讓彼得來的時候、至少那影兒也可以蔭庇着他們一些人。

耶穌在全加利利周遊着，在他們的會堂裏教訓人，宣傳天國的福音，治好了民間的各樣疾病、各樣病症。他的名聲傳出去，到了全敍利亞；人把一切有病的、給各種疾病疼痛困迫的、被鬼附的、癲癇的、癱瘓的、都帶了來；耶穌都治好了他們。
