甚至有人從保羅身上拿手巾或圍裙放在病人身上，病就退了，惡鬼也出去了。

耶穌聽見了，就上船從那裏獨自退到野地裏去。眾人聽見，就從各城裏步行跟隨他。

就跑遍那一帶地方，聽見他在何處，便將有病的人用褥子擡到那裏。凡耶穌所到的地方，或村中，或城裏，或鄉間，他們都將病人放在街市上，求耶穌只容他們摸他的衣裳繸子；凡摸着的人就都好了。

他治好了許多人，所以凡有災病的，都擠進來要摸他。

耶穌就在那裏不得行甚麼異能，不過按手在幾個病人身上，治好他們。

正當那時候，耶穌治好了許多有疾病的，受災患的，被惡鬼附着的，又開恩叫好些瞎子能看見。耶穌回答說：「你們去，把所看見所聽見的事告訴約翰，就是瞎子看見，瘸子行走，長大痲瘋的潔淨，聾子聽見，死人復活，窮人有福音傳給他們。凡不因我跌倒的，就有福了！」

耶穌走遍加利利，在各會堂裏教訓人，傳天國的福音，醫治百姓各樣的病症。他的名聲就傳遍了敘利亞。那裏的人把一切害病的，就是害各樣疾病、各樣疼痛的和被鬼附的、癲癇的、癱瘓的，都帶了來，耶穌就治好了他們。
