眾異之、相告曰、是何道耶、蓋以權能命邪神、而神出矣、

眾駭異、相告曰、此何道耶、蓋彼以權能命邪魔、魔即出、

眾皆愕然相顧曰：『斯何道歟？言具威權、諭魔即出。』

All the people were amazed and said to each other,“ What words these are! With authority and power he gives orders to impure spirits and they come out!”

All the people were amazed. They said to each other,“ What he says is amazing! With authority and power he gives orders to evil spirits. And they come out!”

And they were all amazed and said to one another,“ What is this word? For with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out!”

Amazed, the people exclaimed,“ What authority and power this man’s words possess! Even evil spirits obey him, and they flee at his command!”

Amazement came over them all, and they were saying to one another,“ What is this message? For he commands the unclean spirits with authority and power, and they come out!”

And amazement came upon them all, and they began talking with one another, saying,“ What is this message? For with authority and power He commands the unclean spirits, and they come out!”

Then they were all amazed and spoke among themselves, saying,“ What a word this is! For with authority and power He commands the unclean spirits, and they come out.”

And amazement came upon all, and they spake together, one with another, saying, What is this word? for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out.

他們對他的教訓都很驚奇，因為他的話帶著權柄。

眾人都很驚訝，於是彼此對問說：“這是怎麼一回事？是個有權能的新道理啊！他吩咐污靈，污靈竟服從了他！”

耶穌把鬼趕走之後，啞巴就說話了。眾人都很驚奇，說：“這樣的事，在以色列從來沒有見過。”

有人帶了一個被鬼附著、又瞎又啞的人到耶穌那裡。耶穌醫好了他，那啞巴就能說話，也能看見了。群眾都很驚奇，說：“難道他就是大衛的子孫？”

信的人必有神蹟隨著他們，就是奉我的名趕鬼，用新方言說話，用手握蛇，喝了甚麼毒物也不受害，手按病人就必好了。”主耶穌向門徒講完了話，就被接到天上，坐在神的右邊。門徒出去，到處傳揚福音，主和他們同工，藉著相隨的神蹟，證實所傳的道。（有少數抄本有〔較短的結語〕：9“那些婦女把耶穌所吩咐的一切都告訴彼得和他的同伴。10這些事以後，耶穌藉著他們親自把那神聖不朽、永遠救恩的信息從東到西傳揚出去。阿們。”放在第8節之後；另有少數抄本把它放在第20節之後。）

那七十二個人歡歡喜喜地回來，說：“主啊，因你的名，連鬼也服了我們。”耶穌說：“我看見撒但，像閃電一樣從天墜落。我已經給你們權柄，去踐踏蛇和蠍子，勝過仇敵的一切能力。絕對沒有甚麼能傷害你們了。然而不要因為鬼服了你們就歡喜，卻要因為你們的名字記錄在天上而歡喜。”

眾人非常驚訝說：“他所作的一切事都好極了；他竟然使聾子聽見，又使啞巴說話。”

甚至有人把保羅貼身的手巾圍巾拿去，放在病人身上，病就好了，邪靈也出來了。那時，有幾個趕鬼的猶太人，周遊各處，擅自用主耶穌的名，向身上有邪靈的人說：“我奉保羅所傳的耶穌的名，命令你們出來。”有一個猶太人士基瓦，是祭司長，他的七個兒子都作這事。邪靈回答他們：“耶穌我認識，保羅我也知道；你們是誰？”邪靈所附的那人就撲到他們身上，制伏了兩人，勝過了他們，使他們赤著身帶著傷，從那房子逃了出來。

基督已進到天上，在神右邊，眾天使、有權勢的、有能力的，都服從了他。
