Jesus responded,“ Why are you afraid? You have so little faith!” Then he got up and rebuked the wind and waves, and suddenly there was a great calm.

Then the spirit screamed and threw the boy into another violent convulsion and left him. The boy appeared to be dead. A murmur ran through the crowd as people said,“ He’s dead.”

Then Jesus rebuked the demon in the boy, and it left him. From that moment the boy was well.

The disciples went and woke him up, shouting,“ Master, Master, we’re going to drown!” When Jesus woke up, he rebuked the wind and the raging waves. Suddenly the storm stopped and all was calm.

At that, the evil spirit screamed, threw the man into a convulsion, and then came out of him.

As the boy came forward, the demon knocked him to the ground and threw him into a violent convulsion. But Jesus rebuked the evil spirit and healed the boy. Then he gave him back to his father.

Therefore, rejoice, O heavens! And you who live in the heavens, rejoice! But terror will come on the earth and the sea, for the devil has come down to you in great anger, knowing that he has little time.”

until someone even stronger attacks and overpowers him, strips him of his weapons, and carries off his belongings.

And whenever those possessed by evil spirits caught sight of him, the spirits would throw them to the ground in front of him shrieking,“ You are the Son of God!”But Jesus sternly commanded the spirits not to reveal who he was.

And the Lord said to Satan,“ I, the Lord, reject your accusations, Satan. Yes, the Lord, who has chosen Jerusalem, rebukes you. This man is like a burning stick that has been snatched from the fire.”

An evil spirit keeps seizing him, making him scream. It throws him into convulsions so that he foams at the mouth. It batters him and hardly ever leaves him alone.

But God says to the wicked:“ Why bother reciting my decrees and pretending to obey my covenant?

She followed Paul and the rest of us, shouting,“ These men are servants of the Most High God, and they have come to tell you how to be saved.”This went on day after day until Paul got so exasperated that he turned and said to the demon within her,“ I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.” And instantly it left her.
