予若未在眾前行人所不能行之靈蹟、則彼猶可無咎、今彼既睹之、而依然惡予與吾父也！彼經有云：「人之仇予、非予之辜。」

予亦知爾為亞伯漢之子孫、顧爾仍欲置予於死、以爾心中不容吾道故。

彼佩弓與刀。欲殺賢與良。

故耶穌亦自殉於邑門之外、俾以其血聖化萬民。

眾厲聲狂呼、自掩其耳、蠭擁而前、推之出城、以石擊之；為證者置其衣於一少年之足前、少年者掃羅也。

獄吏既受命、置之內監、加以桎梏。午夜、葆樂西拉祈禱頌詩、讚美天主；群囚側耳而聽。
