婦乃外邦西洛斐尼堅人也；耶穌謂之曰：『當俟兒曹充飫；若先取其餅、以投犬、無是理也。』婦對曰：『主、誠然！但几下穉犬、亦得沾兒曹餅屑耳。』耶穌曰：『善哉對！爾其安心以歸、魔已離汝女矣。』

使吾人得領略其意旨之玄奧。蓋天主夙已從心所欲、

昔天主曾告摩西曰：『吾欲寵者寵之、吾欲憐者憐之。』

蓋吾人之得因基督而倖成天主之眾嗣者、實由淵然深識、匠心獨運之天主所預定

嗟爾蒼生、爾何人斯、乃敢質問天主！被製之物、豈能反詰製之者曰：汝何為而造我如此耶？
