耶和华说：“我的意念非同你们的意念；我的道路非同你们的道路。

这妇人是希腊人，属叙利腓尼基族。她求耶稣赶出那鬼离开她的女儿。耶稣对她说：“让儿女们先吃饱，不好拿儿女的饼丢给狗吃。”妇人回答说：“主啊，不错；但是狗在桌子底下也吃孩子们的碎渣儿。”耶稣对她说：“因这句话，你回去吧；鬼已经离开你的女儿了。”

都是照他自己所预定的美意，叫我们知道他旨意的奥秘，

因他对摩西说：“我要怜悯谁就怜悯谁，要恩待谁就恩待谁。”

我们也在他里面得了基业；这原是那位随己意行作万事的，照着他旨意所预定的，

你这个人哪，你是谁，竟敢向神强嘴呢？受造之物岂能对造他的说：“你为什么这样造我呢？”
