“ Truly I tell you,” he continued,“ no prophet is accepted in his hometown.

又说：“我实在告诉你们，没有先知在自己家乡被人悦纳的。

他又说：“我实在告诉你们，没有先知在自己家乡被人接纳的。

他又说：“我实在告诉你们，没有先知在自己家乡被人接纳的。

可是我实在告诉你们，先知在自己的家乡都是不受欢迎的。

他又说：“我实在告诉你们，没有先知在他本乡是受欢迎的。

耶稣又说：“我确实地告诉你们：没有一位先知在自己的家乡是受欢迎的。

又說：「我實在告訴你們，沒有先知在自己家鄉被人悅納的。

他又說：「我實在告訴你們，沒有先知在自己家鄉被人接納的。

他又說：「我實在告訴你們，沒有先知在自己家鄉被人接納的。

可是我實在告訴你們，先知在自己的家鄉都是不受歡迎的。

他又說：“我實在告訴你們，沒有先知在他本鄉是受歡迎的。

他就說：『我實在告訴你們，沒有神言人在自己家鄉受接納的。

耶穌又說：「我確實地告訴你們：沒有一位先知在自己的家鄉是受歡迎的。

又曰、我誠語汝、未有先知見重於故土者、

我誠告爾、未有先知、而見重於故土者、

又曰、我誠告爾、未有先知見重於故里者、

既又曰：『予誠語爾、先知未有見容於故土者也。

“ What I’m about to tell you is true,” he continued.“ A prophet is not accepted in his hometown.

And he said,“ Truly, I say to you, no prophet is acceptable in his hometown.

But I tell you the truth, no prophet is accepted in his own hometown.

He also said,“ Truly I tell you, no prophet is accepted in his hometown.

But He said,“ Truly I say to you, no prophet is welcome in his hometown.

Then He said,“ Assuredly, I say to you, no prophet is accepted in his own country.

And he said, Verily I say unto you, No prophet is acceptable in his own country.

He also said,“ I assure you: No prophet is accepted in his hometown.

And he said, Verily I say unto you, No prophet is accepted in his own country.

And he added,“ I tell you the truth, no prophet is acceptable in his hometown.

He said,“ Most certainly I tell you, no prophet is acceptable in his hometown.

And they took offense at him. But Jesus said to them,“ A prophet is not without honor except in his own town and in his own home.”

( Now Jesus himself had pointed out that a prophet has no honor in his own country.)

Jesus said to them,“ A prophet is not without honor except in his own town, among his relatives and in his own home.”He could not do any miracles there, except lay his hands on a few sick people and heal them.

“ I am a Jew, born in Tarsus of Cilicia, but brought up in this city. I studied under Gamaliel and was thoroughly trained in the law of our ancestors. I was just as zealous for God as any of you are today.

and saw the Lord speaking to me.‘ Quick!’ he said.‘ Leave Jerusalem immediately, because the people here will not accept your testimony about me.’“‘ Lord,’ I replied,‘ these people know that I went from one synagogue to another to imprison and beat those who believe in you.And when the blood of your martyr Stephen was shed, I stood there giving my approval and guarding the clothes of those who were killing him.’“ Then the Lord said to me,‘ Go; I will send you far away to the Gentiles.’”The crowd listened to Paul until he said this. Then they raised their voices and shouted,“ Rid the earth of him! He’s not fit to live!”

And because of his words many more became believers.
