Jesus said to them,“ No doubt you will quote to me the proverb,‘ Physician, heal yourself!’ and say,‘ What we have heard that you did in Capernaum, do here in your hometown too.’”

耶稣对他们说：“你们必引这俗语向我说：‘医生，你医治自己吧！我们听见你在迦百农所行的事，也当行在你自己家乡里’”；

耶稣对他们说：“你们肯定会把这句俗话用在我身上，说，‘医生啊，治好你自己吧！你在迦百农所行的一切，我们都听说了，也在你家乡行给我们看吧！’

他说：“你们必向我说这俗语：‘医生，治好你自己吧！’也必说：‘我们听见你在迦百农所行的一切事，也该在你本乡这里行啊！’”

耶稣对他们说：“你们一定会用这句谚语对我说：‘医生啊，使你自己痊愈吧！’，‘我们听见在迦百农所发生的事，你在你的家乡这里也应该做！’”

耶穌對他們說：「你們必引這俗語向我說：『醫生，你醫治自己吧！我們聽見你在迦百農所行的事，也當行在你自己家鄉裏』」；

耶穌對他們說：「你們一定會用這俗語向我說：『醫生，你醫治自己吧！我們聽見你在迦百農所做的事，也該在你自己的家鄉做吧。』」

耶穌對他們說：「你們一定會用這俗語向我說：『醫生，你醫治自己吧！我們聽見你在迦百農所做的事，也該在你自己的家鄉做吧。』」

耶穌對他們說：「你們肯定會把這句俗話用在我身上，說，『醫生啊，治好你自己吧！你在迦百農所行的一切，我們都聽說了，也在你家鄉行給我們看吧！』

他說：“你們必向我說這俗語：‘醫生，治好你自己吧！’也必說：‘我們聽見你在迦百農所行的一切事，也該在你本鄉這裡行啊！’”

耶穌對他們說：『你們一定會引這句俗語對我說：「醫生啊，治好你自己吧！」「凡我們聽見你在迦伯農所行的事，你也該在這裏、在你的家鄉行啊！」』

耶穌對他們說：「你們一定會用這句諺語對我說：『醫生啊，使你自己痊癒吧！』，『我們聽見在迦百農所發生的事，你在你的家鄉這裡也應該做！』」

耶穌曰：『爾等必引諺以責予曰：「為醫者、盍先自醫；吾聞汝在葛法農多行奇迹、亦宜行之於故鄉也。」』

Jesus said to them,“ Surely you will quote this proverb to me:‘ Physician, heal yourself!’ And you will tell me,‘ Do here in your hometown what we have heard that you did in Capernaum.’”

Jesus said,“ Here is a saying you will certainly apply to me.‘ Doctor, heal yourself!’ And you will tell me this.‘ Do the things here in your hometown that we heard you did in Capernaum.’ ”

And he said to them,“ Doubtless you will quote to me this proverb,‘“ Physician, heal yourself.” What we have heard you did at Capernaum, do here in your hometown as well.’”

Then he said,“ You will undoubtedly quote me this proverb:‘ Physician, heal yourself’— meaning,‘ Do miracles here in your hometown like those you did in Capernaum.’

Then he said to them,“ No doubt you will quote this proverb to me:‘ Doctor, heal yourself. What we’ve heard that took place in Capernaum, do here in your hometown also.’”

And He said to them,“ No doubt you will quote this proverb to Me:‘ Physician, heal yourself! All the miracles that we heard were done in Capernaum, do here in your hometown as well.’ ”

He said to them,“ You will surely say this proverb to Me,‘ Physician, heal yourself! Whatever we have heard done in Capernaum, do also here in Your country.’”

And he said unto them, Doubtless ye will say unto me this parable, Physician, heal thyself: whatsoever we have heard done at Capernaum, do also here in thine own country.

Then He said to them,“ No doubt you will quote this proverb to Me:‘ Doctor, heal yourself. So all we’ve heard that took place in Capernaum, do here in Your hometown also.’”

And he said unto them, Ye will surely say unto me this proverb, Physician, heal thyself: whatsoever we have heard done in Capernaum, do also here in thy country.

He said to them,“ Doubtless you will tell me this parable,‘ Physician, heal yourself! Whatever we have heard done at Capernaum, do also here in your hometown.’”

Now Jesus left that place and came to his hometown, and his disciples followed him.

While in Galilee, he moved from Nazareth to make his home in Capernaum by the sea, in the region of Zebulun and Naphtali,

therefore you who teach someone else, do you not teach yourself? You who preach against stealing, do you steal?You who tell others not to commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples?

How can you say to your brother,‘ Brother, let me remove the speck from your eye,’ while you yourself don’t see the beam in your own? You hypocrite! First remove the beam from your own eye, and then you can see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

And you, Capernaum, will you be exalted to heaven? No, you will be thrown down to Hades! For if the miracles done among you had been done in Sodom, it would have continued to this day.But I tell you, it will be more bearable for the region of Sodom on the day of judgment than for you!”

Then they went to Capernaum. When the Sabbath came, Jesus went into the synagogue and began to teach.The people there were amazed by his teaching, because he taught them like one who had authority, not like the experts in the law.Just then there was a man in their synagogue with an unclean spirit, and he cried out,“ Leave us alone, Jesus the Nazarene! Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are– the Holy One of God!”But Jesus rebuked him:“ Silence! Come out of him!”After throwing him into convulsions, the unclean spirit cried out with a loud voice and came out of him.They were all amazed so that they asked each other,“ What is this? A new teaching with authority! He even commands the unclean spirits and they obey him.”So the news about him spread quickly throughout all the region around Galilee.

Then he came to his hometown and began to teach the people in their synagogue. They were astonished and said,“ Where did this man get such wisdom and miraculous powers?

Now he came again to Cana in Galilee where he had made the water wine. In Capernaum there was a certain royal official whose son was sick.When he heard that Jesus had come back from Judea to Galilee, he went to him and begged him to come down and heal his son, who was about to die.So Jesus said to him,“ Unless you people see signs and wonders you will never believe!”“ Sir,” the official said to him,“ come down before my child dies.”Jesus told him,“ Go home; your son will live.” The man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him, and set off for home.While he was on his way down, his slaves met him and told him that his son was going to live.So he asked them the time when his condition began to improve, and they told him,“ Yesterday at one o’clock in the afternoon the fever left him.”Then the father realized that it was the very time Jesus had said to him,“ Your son will live,” and he himself believed along with his entire household.

When the wine ran out, Jesus’ mother said to him,“ They have no wine left.”Jesus replied,“ Woman, why are you saying this to me? My time has not yet come.”

Now Jesus came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, as was his custom. He stood up to read,

For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been his counselor?Or who has first given to God, that God needs to repay him?

So then from now on we acknowledge no one from an outward human point of view. Even though we have known Christ from such a human point of view, now we do not know him in that way any longer.

Then the woman left her water jar, went off into the town and said to the people,

Now after some days, when he returned to Capernaum, the news spread that he was at home.So many gathered that there was no longer any room, not even by the door, and he preached the word to them.Some people came bringing to him a paralytic, carried by four of them.When they were not able to bring him in because of the crowd, they removed the roof above Jesus. Then, after tearing it out, they lowered the stretcher the paralytic was lying on.When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic,“ Son, your sins are forgiven.”Now some of the experts in the law were sitting there, turning these things over in their minds:“ Why does this man speak this way? He is blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?”Now immediately, when Jesus realized in his spirit that they were contemplating such thoughts, he said to them,“ Why are you thinking such things in your hearts?Which is easier, to say to the paralytic,‘ Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say,‘ Stand up, take your stretcher, and walk’?But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins,”– he said to the paralytic–“ I tell you, stand up, take your stretcher, and go home.”And immediately the man stood up, took his stretcher, and went out in front of them all. They were all amazed and glorified God, saying,“ We have never seen anything like this!”

Jesus went throughout all of Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of disease and sickness among the people.

So Jesus’ brothers advised him,“ Leave here and go to Judea so your disciples may see your miracles that you are performing.For no one who seeks to make a reputation for himself does anything in secret. If you are doing these things, show yourself to the world.”
