The wise of heart is called discerning, and sweetness of speech increases persuasiveness.

and coming to his hometown he taught them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished, and said,“ Where did this man get this wisdom and these mighty works?Is not this the carpenter’s son? Is not his mother called Mary? And are not his brothers James and Joseph and Simon and Judas?And are not all his sisters with us? Where then did this man get all these things?”

You are the most handsome of the sons of men; grace is poured upon your lips; therefore God has blessed you forever.

The Lord God has given me the tongue of those who are taught, that I may know how to sustain with a word him who is weary. Morning by morning he awakens; he awakens my ear to hear as those who are taught.

And on the Sabbath he began to teach in the synagogue, and many who heard him were astonished, saying,“ Where did this man get these things? What is the wisdom given to him? How are such mighty works done by his hands?Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary and brother of James and Joses and Judas and Simon? And are not his sisters here with us?” And they took offense at him.

and sound speech that cannot be condemned, so that an opponent may be put to shame, having nothing evil to say about us.

The Preacher sought to find words of delight, and uprightly he wrote words of truth.The words of the wise are like goads, and like nails firmly fixed are the collected sayings; they are given by one Shepherd.

But they could not withstand the wisdom and the Spirit with which he was speaking.

The officers answered,“ No one ever spoke like this man!”

A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in a setting of silver.

His mouth is most sweet, and he is altogether desirable. This is my beloved and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem.

And all who heard him were amazed at his understanding and his answers.

for I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which none of your adversaries will be able to withstand or contradict.

The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable, but the mouth of the wicked, what is perverse.

In your majesty ride out victoriously for the cause of truth and meekness and righteousness; let your right hand teach you awesome deeds!
