Isn’t his mother called Mary, and his brothers James, Joseph, Simon, and Judas?And his sisters, aren’t they all with us? So where does he get all these things?”

You are the most handsome of men; grace flows from your lips. Therefore God has blessed you forever.

The Lord GOD has given me the tongue of those who are instructed to know how to sustain the weary with a word. He awakens me each morning; he awakens my ear to listen like those being instructed.

When the Sabbath came, he began to teach in the synagogue, and many who heard him were astonished.“ Where did this man get these things?” they said.“ What is this wisdom that has been given to him, and how are these miracles performed by his hands?Isn’t this the carpenter, the son of Mary, and the brother of James, Joses, Judas, and Simon? And aren’t his sisters here with us?” So they were offended by him.

Your message is to be sound beyond reproach, so that any opponent will be ashamed, because he doesn’t have anything bad to say about us.

The Teacher sought to find delightful sayings and write words of truth accurately.The sayings of the wise are like cattle prods, and those from masters of collections are like firmly embedded nails. The sayings are given by one Shepherd.

But they were unable to stand up against his wisdom and the Spirit by whom he was speaking.

The servants answered,“ No man ever spoke like this!”

A word spoken at the right time is like gold apples in silver settings.

His mouth is sweetness. He is absolutely desirable. This is my love, and this is my friend, young women of Jerusalem.

for I will give you such words and a wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict.

The lips of the righteous know what is appropriate, but the mouth of the wicked, only what is perverse.
