“ Now my soul is troubled. What shall I say?‘ Father, save me from this time?’ But I came to this time for this cause.Father, glorify your name!” Then a voice came out of the sky, saying,“ I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.”

About eight days after these sayings, he took with him Peter, John, and James, and went up onto the mountain to pray.As he was praying, the appearance of his face was altered, and his clothing became white and dazzling.

But he withdrew himself into the desert, and prayed.

After he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into the mountain by himself to pray. When evening had come, he was there alone.

As he was praying alone, the disciples were with him, and he asked them,“ Who do the multitudes say that I am?”
