他们却不知道耶和华的意念，也不明白他的筹划。他聚集他们，好像把禾捆聚到禾场一样。

我在境内各城门口，用簸箕簸了我的百姓，使他们丧掉儿女。我毁灭他们，他们仍不转离所行的道。

你发怒的时候，要使他们如在炎热的火炉中。耶和华要在他的震怒中吞灭他们；那火要把他们烧尽了。你必从世上灭绝他们的子孙，从人间灭绝他们的后裔。

耕地的牛和驴驹必吃加盐的料；这料是用木杴和杈子扬净的。

倘若你一只手叫你跌倒，就把它砍下来；你缺了肢体进入永生，强如有两只手落到地狱，入那不灭的火里去。倘若你一只脚叫你跌倒，就把它砍下来；你瘸腿进入永生，强如有两只脚被丢在地狱里。倘若你一只眼叫你跌倒，就去掉它；你只有一只眼进入神的国，强如有两只眼被丢在地狱里。在那里，虫是不死的，火是不灭的。因为必用火当盐腌各人。
