Anyone who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with their own hands, that they may have something to share with those in need. (niv)

Wash and make yourselves clean. Take your evil deeds out of my sight; stop doing wrong.Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow. (niv)

nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. (niv)

I have been blameless before him and have kept myself from sin. (niv)

He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. (niv)

Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy. (niv)

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, (niv)

So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets. (niv)

Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near.Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon. (niv)
