我但以理獨見此異象、偕我之人、不見其異象、惟大驚懼、遁逃自匿、留我獨在、我見此大異象、身弱不堪、面容變色、氣力盡廢、我亦聞其言之聲、一聞其言之聲、面伏於地、魂不附體、有一手撫我、使我微起、得以膝與掌抵地、得以膝與掌抵地或作能以膝與掌支持彼告我曰、蒙眷愛之但以理、我奉遣就爾、爾當起而立、細聽我將諭爾之言、彼與我言此、我戰慄不勝、遂起而立、又告我曰、但以理、勿懼、自初日爾專心求明、於爾天主前刻以自苦、爾言升聞於上、我因爾之禱言、奉遣而來、
